Abstract: A HVAC system that employs atmospheric data, a controller for an HVAC system and a graphical user interface that receives atmospheric data are provided is disclosed. In one embodiment the HVAC system includes: (1) an interface that receives atmospheric data for an installed location of the HVAC system and (2) a controller that configures the HVAC system based on the atmospheric data.
