    摘要: An osmotic delivery system flow modulator assembly, an osmotic delivery system with a flow modulator assembly, and a method of assembling an osmotic delivery system. The osmotic delivery system flow modular assembly includes a body having a hole located through the body and communicating two opposing ends of the body. The use of the osmotic delivery system flow modulator assembly lessens the chance that air or gas pockets will form in the enclosure of the osmotic delivery system during assembly of the system. Because less air is within the osmotic delivery system, performance of the system is enhanced. Use of the flow modulator assembly also lessens the chance that beneficial agent will be wasted during assembly of the osmotic delivery system.

    摘要: A cyclist training system having a polymeric pivoting assembly which is adapted to allow a cyclist of a bicycle to nutate about the perpendicular axis when exerting lateral forces on the bicycle. The cyclist training system includes a tubular base support, a tubular bicycle support; and means to securely retain the bicycle within the cyclist training system. The polymeric pivoting assembly couples the tubular bicycle support to the tubular base support and is constructed from a polyurethane elastomer. Various embodiments of the polymeric pivoting assembly are provided having Shore A hardness in the range of 40-90 durameters and Shore D hardness in the range of 45-65 durameters. The polymeric pivoting assembly minimizes the unnatural bounce provided by other cyclist training systems known in the relevant art.

In one embodiment, the plate includes first and second conductive layers to shadow the second antenna and thereby block energy from reaching the second antenna. A resonant quarter wavelength spacing of the plates forces energy broadside minimizing the spillover the edge caused by diffraction. Multiple conductive layers having increasing radii can block diffracted energy from spilling over and around the plate. The multiple plates of increasing radii affect a waterfall-like spill wherein energy is lost in each level.
