摘要: Systems and methods for interlace PUCCH transmission in 5G networks are described. The gNB sends an RRC message to a UE. The RRC message provides one or more PUCCH interlace allocations within a BW. Each PUCCH interlace allocation has a PUCCH format for each PUCCH interlace. Each PUCCH format contains a different PUCCH interlace index. The UE sends a PUCCH interlace in the BWP based on the PUCCH interlace allocation. A PUCCH in the allocated PUCCH interlace has a cyclic shift that is dependent on a resource block number in the allocated PUCCH interlace within the BWP.

摘要: An apparatus for use in a base station includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory. To configure the base station for channel access in a New Radio (NR) unlicensed (NR-U) network operating in an unlicensed spectrum, the processing circuitry is to perform an LBT procedure for a transmission occasion of a plurality of transmission occasions within a Discovery Measurement Timing Configuration (DMTC) window of a communication channel in the unlicensed spectrum. The transmission occasion is configured within a slot of a plurality of slots forming the DMTC window. A Discovery Reference Signal (DRS) is encoded for transmission to a UE on the communication channel, based on the successful completion of the LBT procedure. The DRS includes a PSS, a SSS, and a PBCH. A RACH procedure is performed with the UE, the RACH procedure initiated based on the PSS, the SSS, and the PBCH.

摘要: A generation Node B (gNB) configured for Sub-Band Full Duplex (SBFD) communication in a fifth-generation new radio (5G NR) network may communicate with two or more User Equipment (UEs) during SBFD symbols. During any one or more of the SBFD symbols, a downlink transmission may be transmitted to at least one of the UEs simultaneously with reception of an uplink transmission from at least another of the UEs. The SBFD symbols may span the carrier bandwidth and may comprise at least a downlink (DL) subband and an uplink (UL) subband within the carrier bandwidth. To communicate with the two or more UE simultaneously during the SBFD symbols, the gNB may configure the UEs that are to transmit during one or more of the SBFD symbols with timing-advance offset information to be used by the UEs to adjust a configured timing-advance for initiating an uplink transmission relative to downlink symbol timing at a UE within the one or more SBFD symbols. A timing-advance offset may delay an uplink transmission of during one or more of the SBFD symbols that follows a downlink symbol. This offset or delay, relative to the timing-advance, may provide a UL-DL switching time gap when the SBFD symbol follows a DL symbol.

摘要: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions for execution by one or more processors of a UE to configure the UE for SBFD operation in a 5G NR network, and to cause the UE to decode RRC signaling received from a base station and including at least one CSI-RS resource set with time-frequency resource allocation associated with a CSI-RS transmission. A CSI reporting band is determined with a plurality of PRBs based on the RRC signaling. The CSI reporting band including a subset of the plurality of PRBs associated with one or more DL subband(s) in symbols or slots identified via higher layer signaling or a combination of higher layer and Layer 1 signaling for SBFD operation. Channel measurements are performed based on CSI-RSs transmitted during the CSI-RS transmission. The measurements are associated with the subset of the plurality of PRBs in the CSI reporting band.

The UE may multiplex the first priority HARQ-ACK bits and the second priority HARQ-ACK bits in a PUCCH transmission when the PUCCH resources for the first and the second HARQ-ACK codebooks overlap. The LTE may use the PUCCH resource for the higher priority HARQ-ACK bits to multiplex the first priority HARQ-ACK bits and the second priority HARQ-ACK bits.

摘要: Systems and methods of providing timing information for initial access in an unlicensed band are described. A UE monitors a new radio discovery signal (NRDS-U) window in an unlicensed band for a DRS transmission that is constrained to be transmitted within the NRDS-U window. The UE determines initial access information, including an offset that indicates when the DRS transmission occurs within the NRDS-U window, and engages in initial access dependent on the offset. The offset is from a radio frame or half radio frame boundary or the start of the NRDS-U window. The offset is indicated in three least/most significant bits an SSB index or from an s1-offset field in a MIB of the SSB. When the base station uses a DFS channel, the base station transmits a periodic signal to emulate a radar signal.

The eNB may, for the U-NPSS, for each subframe of the plurality of subframes, and for each of the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols of the subframe: repeat a sequence of length-11; and map the sequence to 11 resource elements (REs) of a physical resource block (PRB) of 12 REs. The eNB may process the U-NPSS by an orthogonal cover code (OCC) over the plurality of subframes. The sequence in each of the OFDM symbols of each of the subframes of the plurality of subframes may be multiplied by a different element of the OCC.

摘要: The disclosure provides design of a frequency hopping sequence for an unlicensed IoT system operating in unlicensed spectrum. According to some embodiments, an apparatus for generating a frequency hopping sequence in an unlicensed Internet-of-Things (IoT) system includes baseband circuitry to generate a frequency hopping sequence by conducting a permutation operation based on a physical cell identifier (PCI) and a system frame number (SFN), and to select a channel within an unlicensed spectrum according to the frequency hopping sequence. In some embodiments, the input of the permutation operation is obtained from the SFN or from the SFN and the PCI. In some embodiments, the control of the permutation operation is a function of the PCI and/or the SFN. In some embodiments, the control of the permutation operation is generated using a pseudorandom number generator with the PCI as a seed.
