摘要: The drawing mechanism for drawing textile fibers includes an input nip between a first pressure roller (6) and a first drafting roller (1), a first intermediate nip between a second pressure roller (7) and a second drafting roller (2), and an output nip between a third pressure roller (8) and a third drafting roller (3). Two additional nips are formed between a fourth and a fifth pressure rollers (9, 10) and the second drafting roller. A second intermediate nip is formed between a sixth pressure roller (11) and the second drafting roller (2). If the treated fibers are short, the draft occurs between the input nip (6 - 1) and the first intermediate nip (9 - 2), and between the second intermediate nip (10 - 2) and the output nip (8 - 3). If the fibers are long, pressure on the fourth and fifth pressure rollers (9, 10) is reduced. The draft zones then extend to the intermediate nips (7 - 2, 11 - 2). In this manner an adaptation to different fiber lengths is possible without alteration of the roller distances. .

摘要: Slubbing, which is to be drawn, is pulled from cans (25), which are mounted behind a drawing frame. The frame comprises a double draw head section with devices for filling two cans (7 and 8), which are situated at respective filling stations. The filled cans (7 and 8) are then automatically replaced by empty cans (2): A slide (15 and 16) moves two empty cans (2) rectilinearly, counter to the working direction of the draw heads, into the filling stations and simultaneously moves the filled cans (7 and 8) rectilinearly in the same direction into two removal stations (13 and 14). Thus, the replacement of the cans (7 and 8) proceeds very rapidly and with a minimal gap between the filled cans (7 and 8) and the empty cans (2), which avoids the need for the frame to be stopped. A device (M and H) for controlling and driving the frame is accommodated in a rear part (6) of the frame housing which is situated on the side of the removal stations (13 and 14) facing the filling stations (7 and 8). The filled cans are then expelled laterally from the removal stations (13 and 14) by means of expulsion arms (17) through openings (19 and 20) on respective sides of the frame. The ground plan or working area of the drawing frame is therefore roughly rectangular and space-saving.

摘要: A drawing frame has an electric driving motor (M) and a main shaft (H), which is drivingly connected to several driven rollers (W1-W4, W1'-W4') in the two draw heads (11) of the drawing frame. Between the motor (M) and the main shaft (H) are arranged a belt adjusting gear mechanism (V and HO) and a clutch (K). The transmission ratio of the adjusting gear (V and HO) is automatically gradually reduced from a maximum value to the operating value, so that the main shaft (H) is smoothly accelerated.Cut-off devices are provided for automatically stopping the frame when a disturbance of any kind occurs. The cut-off devices switch off the electric motor (M), release the clutch (K) and actuate a brake (B) which acts upon the main shaft (H), and also an adjusting member of an adjustable disc (V) of the belt-adjusting gear (V and HO). The brake (B) can be relatively small, as it does not have to decelerate the uncoupled motor (M). The motor (M) and the adjusting gear (V and HO) run on for a short while as a result of their inertia. Within this time, the adjusting gear (V and HO) is automatically set to its maximum transmission ratio without any difficulty, so that it is ready when the drawing frame is restarted.

摘要: A process and apparatus for spinning textile fibres in which the separated fibres are conveyed in an air stream into a confined space between two contra rotating friction discs (6,7). The air stream enters through an opening (5) in one disc (6) and passes through a permeable collecting surface (9,13) into a static suction exit passage (15) located within the other disc (7). The fibres are drawn off at right angles through the annular gap between the two discs and in doing so are twisted into a roving (16).

摘要: A twist is imparted to fiber slubbing (1) exiting from drawing rollers (2) by means of twister (4). Oriented, parallelized fibers (F) are applied to rotating fiber slubbing (1) in front of or within twister (4), the fibers (F) wrapping themselves around core thread (1). Because of these fibers (F), the twist of fiber slubbing (1) no longer unravels completely after twister (4), so that a spun thread (12) of great strength is obtained. The feed of fiber (F) to fiber slubbing (1) occurs by means of rotating feed element (8). It has a circular perforated surface (9), behind which a negative pressure is maintained to keep fibers (F) on the surface. The oriented, parallelized fibers (F) exit from drawing rollers (10) and are conveyed to perforated surface (9). The rotating fiber slubbing (1) comes into contact with surface (9) and then draws fibers (F) from surface (9). So that fibers (F) remain oriented and drawn during transfer, the speed of movement of perforated surface (9) is greater than the rate of feed of drawing rollers (10) and less than the circumferential speed of fiber slubbing (1).

摘要: A cylindrical tube is inclined from the vertical below a sliver guide, the bottom end of the tube being mounted on a supporting element, and the upper part being accommodated in a bearing, the outer race of which is located in a horizontal plate. The horizontal plate has a gyratory motion imparted to it through two crankshafts, such that the tube would undergo a nutational movement. To improve the distribution of the sliver, the axis of the cycloidal loops of sliver passing from the tube is shifted by journaling the crankshafts on a second horizontal plate to which a gyratory movement is imparted by a second pair of crankshafts. The first pair of crankshafts is driven more slowly than the second pair.

摘要: The machine comprises a series of rotatable spindles (3), each of these being associated with respectively one cap-shaped thread guide member (7) rotatable about the spindle axis. A first drive belt (5) serves for turning the spindles (3). A second belt (12) is in contact with whorls (11) on the thread guide members (7). A device exerting contact pressure (13, 14, 15) urges the second belt (12) during operation against the whorls (11) with an adjustable force so that the belt (12) exerts, by means of friction, a small braking force on the whorls (11) running faster than the belt (12). The contact pressure device (13, 14, 15) can be switched over in order to press the second belt (12) against the whorls (11) with a substantially greater force. Upon shutoff of the spinning machine, the contact pressure device (13, 14, 15) is switched over so that the decelerating second belt (12) exerts a substantially greater friction force on whorls (11) and rapidly brakes the thread guide members (7) concomitantly.

摘要: Apparatus for receiving and gathering a fibre band from a card or stretcher is arranged for a hopper wheel to deliver the band into the top of a cylindrical tube inclined to a vertical line passing centrally through its lower end, the tube being arranged to wobble so that its longitudinal axis traces out the surface of a cone around this vertical line. This movement is effected by crank mechanism acting on the outer race of a ball bearing assembly embracing an upper portion of the tube. The lower end of the tube rests on an internal flange of a cylindrical ring that centers the lower end of the tube. The band is gathered in rings of overlapping loops contacting the inner surface of the tube. The gathered material passes through the ring and then through a tubular duct to a container at one side of the apparatus.

摘要: The spinning device comprises a vertically displaceable spindle bearing plate (2) carrying a rotatable spindle (1), and a cap-shaped thread guide member (6) rotatable about the spindle axis. The bobbin changer has a supporting element (11) and a bobbin holder element (10) which are movable transversely to the spindle axis. An extension (9) is releasably mounted on the top end of the spindle (1) and/or of a bobbin tube (8) placed on the spindle. Once the bobbin tube (8) has been fully wound with yarn, a short yarn section is wound onto this extension (9), and then the spinning device is shut off. The spindle bearing plate (2) is lowered, and the supporting element (11) is moved toward the spindle axis in order to seize the extension (9). The spindle bearing plate (2) is lowered further, and the bobbin holder element (10) is moved toward the spindle axis, seizes the fully wound bobbin tube (8), and transfers the latter to a conveying means (14, 15). Subsequently, the bobbin holder element (10) moves an empty bobbin tube (8) from the conveying means (14, 15) into the axis of the spindle. Then the spindle bearing plate (2) is lifted in order to introduce the spindle (1) into the empty bobbin tube (8). The supporting element (11) places the extension (9) onto the upper end of the bobbin tube (8) and withdraws.

摘要: The apparatus comprises a stretching unit (S) delivering two stretched fiber rovings (4, 5). One fiber roving (4) serves as the core for the wrapped yarn to be produced and runs to a twist-imparting device (6, 7). The fibers of the other fiber roving (5) are transferred to a moving fiber feeding and holding surface (9) constituted by a perforated peripheral surface of a hollow disk (10). This surface (9) comes into contact with the core (4) at a point (C) in front of the twist-imparting device (6, 7). At this contact point (C), the fibers fed on the surface (9) are seized by the rotating core (4) and wound up. At the contact point (C), a fiber catching device (12) is likewise arranged, having an air-permeable surface (11) behind which a vacuum is maintained. Fibers fed along the fiber feeding and holding surface (9) which separate from this surface (9) before they have been wound up completely on the core (4) are sucked against the air-permeable surface (11) of the fiber catching device (12) and retained until they have been completely wound up. In this way, all fibers are wrapped onto the core (4) in stretched condition even at high operating velocities.
