摘要: A method and associated handling unit transfer a sliver from a sliver can into a workstation of a sliver processing textile machine that has a plurality of identical workstations arranged next to one another. The handling unit is stopped at the workstation and the sliver is captured with the handling unit at the sliver can. The captured sliver is transferred to a receiving unit of the workstation and, after the sliver has been transferred, the sliver is released from the handling unit as the handling unit leaves the workstation. After the sliver has been released, a check is performed to determine whether the sliver has been completely removed from the handling unit.

摘要: A method and a handling unit (13) are utilized for transferring a sliver (8) from a sliver can (9) into a workstation (3) of a sliver (8) processing textile machine, in particular an open-end spinning machine (1). A plurality of identical workstations (3) are arranged next to one another and a handling unit (13) is displaceable along the plurality of workstations (3). In order to transfer the sliver (8), the handling unit (13) stops at the workstation (3), the sliver (8) is captured by the handling unit (13) at the sliver can (9), and the sliver (8) is transferred to a receiving unit of the workstation (3). After the sliver (8) has been transferred, the handling unit (13) releases the sliver (8) and leaves the workstation (3). After the sliver (8) has been released, a check is carried out to determine whether the sliver (8) has been completely removed from the handling unit (13). (FIG. 4)

摘要: An electronic device and associated method are used to detect a fault in a spinning mill and to estimate one or more sources of the fault, the spinning mill including a plurality of textile machines that sequentially process textile materials. With the electronic device, the method receives parameter information of one or more of the textile machines and of one or more of the textile materials. The electronic device detects faults and location of the faults by identifying parameter information of the textile materials deviating from reference information. The electronic device is used to access configuration information of the textile machines and knowledge-based information related to possible sources of faults in the spinning mill. The method incudes using the electronic device to apply parameter information, configuration information, and knowledge-based information to one or more machine-learning algorithms to estimate the sources of the faults.

摘要: Proposed is a procedure for the control of a service module for the maintenance of spinning stations and also a service module for the carrying out of this said maintenance. The procedure is carried out on a spinning machine, which can run at least one activity (A) at individual spinning stations, whereby this activity (A) consists, respectively, of at least one task (I-IV). In a case of a disturbance (4) in the course of the working of a task (I-IV), then the service module is immediately disconnected from automatic operation and is set in stillstand and subsequently, by the said service module itself, at least one procedure (a, b, c, d) for the correction of the said disturbance is carried out in order to complete the activity (A) which is to be carried out, or the service module is reset, into a fully operable state.

摘要: A compacted yarn is produced by providing a row of orifices subsequent to drafting along which the fiber strand is guided and after which the fiber strand is subjected to a twist according to the invention the suction air flow is monitored at least at one suction location and upon falling below a threshold, a signal is generated which can be used for shutdown or to alert personnel. The result is elimination of the reduction in yarn quality which can occur when the compaction system becomes blocked by lint, fiber accumulation or the like.

摘要: The invention relates to textile machine control. The run of spinning units is controlled by two busses, a two-way bus, and a reserve one-way bus, the latter being activated, as a rule, by a central electronic system, and possibly, though less often, by the operator. A suitable arrangement of the circuits on the criterion of whether they belong to the two-way bus or to the one-way one, facilitates troubleshooting and permits shorter repair time on vast systems comprising a plurality of work stations of the textile machine. The invention can be used on various types of spinning machines where a predetermined length of wound yarn is required.
