    摘要: A method for vision assisted parking of a vehicle includes displaying video images derived from image data captured by a camera. A controller is operated in a first mode to generate a first overlay that includes a parking space representation of a parking space where the vehicle may be parked, and that is overlayed on the displayed video images at an offset position and remains at the offset position while the driver maneuvers the vehicle to position the parking space representation at a target parking location. The controller is operated in a second mode to generate a second overlay that includes (i) a representation of a predicted rearward path of travel of the vehicle and (ii) a representation of a determined target path. The second overlay is adjusted responsive to steering of the vehicle while the driver follows the determined target path towards and into the target parking location.

    摘要: A parking assist system for a vehicle includes a rearward viewing camera, a display and a controller. When operating in a first mode, the controller generates a first overlay at the displayed images that includes a representation of a target parking position. When the vehicle is in a reverse gear, the controller operates in a second mode and generates second and third overlays at the displayed images. The second overlay includes a representation of a projected rearward path of the vehicle that is based on a current steering angle of the vehicle. When operating in the second mode and after the representation of the target parking position is positioned at a displayed target parking space for the vehicle, the controller determines a target path for the vehicle to guide the driver to the target parking space, with the third overlay including a representation of the determined target path.

    摘要: A parking assist system for a vehicle includes a camera and a display operable to display video images of an exterior scene derived from image data captured by the camera. A controller, when operating in a first or parking space locator mode, adds an overlay to the displayed video images. The overlay includes (i) a polygonal representation of the vehicle and (ii) a linear overlay extending along one side of the polygonal representation of the vehicle. The polygonal representation is offset behind and laterally from the vehicle. The controller is operable in the first mode while the vehicle is being driven by a driver of the vehicle and, with the overlay added to displayed video images, the driver maneuvers the vehicle to position the polygonal representation at a displayed target parking location. The linear overlay assists the driver in parking the vehicle at the target parking location.
