    摘要: A parking assistance device includes: an obstacle detection unit detecting an obstacle; a target position determination unit determining a target position between a first virtual obstacle, based on a first obstacle, and a second virtual obstacle based on a second obstacle being lined up with the first obstacle in a first direction; and a route determination unit determining a first route from the position of a vehicle to the target position, and that, when while the vehicle travels along the determined first route, the obstacle detection unit has detected a third obstacle positioned between the first and second obstacles and closer to the first obstacle than the second obstacle, enlarges the first virtual obstacle, and determines a second route that avoids the enlarged first virtual obstacle and is set from the position of the vehicle to the target position.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method of displaying a rear side obstacle of a vehicle, including: a first measuring step of measuring a first distance between a vehicle and an obstacle using a first sensor; a determining step of determining a position of the obstacle using the first distance, a moving distance of the vehicle, and a steering angle of the vehicle related with the moving distance; and a displaying step of displaying the position of the obstacle. Therefore, the position of the obstacle at the rear side of the vehicle is precisely predicted so that a driver may be notified in advance that the vehicle may hit the obstacle.

One characteristic value per traffic participant is established which quantifies a collision probability of the motor vehicle with the respective traffic participants in dependency on the captured movements and positions of the traffic participants and the movement and position of the motor vehicle. At least one warning message is issued with respect to the traffic participants, for which the established characteristic values reach a predetermined collision probability value, wherein the warning message is signaled in which direction of the motor vehicle the respective collisions are impending.

    摘要: A parking assist system for a vehicle includes a camera and a display operable to display video images of an exterior scene derived from image data captured by the camera. A controller, when operating in a first or parking space locator mode, adds an overlay to the displayed video images. The overlay includes (i) a polygonal representation of the vehicle and (ii) a linear overlay extending along one side of the polygonal representation of the vehicle. The polygonal representation is offset behind and laterally from the vehicle. The controller is operable in the first mode while the vehicle is being driven by a driver of the vehicle and, with the overlay added to displayed video images, the driver maneuvers the vehicle to position the polygonal representation at a displayed target parking location. The linear overlay assists the driver in parking the vehicle at the target parking location.

    摘要: A travel control device includes a side obstacle detection unit, a rearward movement preparation detection unit, a warning unit, and a suppression unit. The side obstacle detection unit divides a range from a lateral side to a rear side of a vehicle into plural detection angle areas, and detects, for each of the plural detection angle areas, an obstacle entering the detection angle area and a distance to the obstacle. The warning unit provides warning about the obstacle. The suppression unit suppresses the warning by the warning unit, if the rearward movement preparation detection unit detects the vehicle preparing to move rearward and the detection angle area in which the obstacle is detected shifts from the rear side to the lateral side.

    摘要: A system for monitoring the area surrounding a vehicle, especially behind the vehicle and/or a connected trailer. The system includes distance sensors, which are arranged in a main plane and in at least one additional plane, for detecting objects in the respective monitoring region that pose a risk of collision and/or that limit passage height and/or width. The system also includes a device that evaluates the distance sensor signals to ascertain the current distance of the vehicle from the detected object and to compare the current distance against a predefinable, vehicle-specific setpoint distance value and to output a warning signal if a predefinable difference value therebetween is not reached. To cover the monitoring region both in area and height, additional distance sensors are arranged in at least one additional plane such that objects that cannot be identified by the sensors in the main plane can be detected over the entire width of the vehicle.

    摘要: In a structure, which securely attaches a component to an opening portion in a plate-shaped member without stripping or turning over the plate-shaped member, each of a pair of mount members includes a first engagement portion engaged with a rear surface side of the plate-shaped member and a second engagement portion engaged with the component. The component includes projecting portions to be fitted between the mount members to enable fixing against coming off by engagement of the second engagement portion and the component. The projecting portions inhibit the mount members from moving so as not to come off the opening portion. Since the second engagement portion is formed from the multiple step portions engageable with the component, engagement with the component may be done even if plate thickness of the plate-shaped member varies, enabling fixing without backlash and improving versatility to the plate-shaped member having different plate thickness.
