Abstract: A gaseous fluid filter has a filter element insertable into the filter housing through a service opening. A clamping wedge is insertable in a joining direction for clamping the filter element in clamping direction against the filter housing. The filter element rests against the filter housing with a seal surface facing away from the clamping wedge. The clamping wedge has a housing wedge side facing a housing stop and a filter element wedge side facing a filter element stop. These wedge sides each have first and second bearing surfaces separated by a step. The joining direction extends in or parallel to a contact plane between housing wedge side and housing stop. The first and/or second bearing surface of the filter element wedge side is positioned at a wedge base angle of 1° to 20° to the joining direction. The steps of the wedge sides are offset in joining direction.

Abstract: A filter element for filtering a fluid has a frame and at least one filter bellows arranged in the frame and provided with a first areal inflow surface for a first fluid flow and at least one second inflow surface for a second fluid flow separate from the first fluid flow. The second inflow surface is separate from the first areal inflow surface. A flow channel is provided to guide the second fluid flow and has a raw-side flow channel section arranged within the frame. A filter system provided with a filter housing is provided with such a filter element arranged exchangeably in the filter housing between a raw side and a clean side. The filter housing has a first inlet for the first fluid flow communicating with the first inflow surface and at least a second inlet for the second fluid flow communicating with the second inflow surface.

Abstract: An air filter has a filter housing with inlet opening, outlet opening, and service opening. A first filter element and a second filter element are arranged inside the filter housing between inlet opening and outlet opening. The first filter element is arranged in a mounting frame. The first and second filter elements can be flowed through serially in one or more operating states of the air filter. The mounting frame is insertable through the service opening into the filter housing in a joining direction and removable from the filter housing opposite to the joining direction. The second filter element has a wedge stop. A clamping wedge arranged at the mounting frame, upon insertion of the mounting frame into the filter housing, contacts the wedge stop of the second filter element and clamps the second filter element at the filter housing in a clamping direction transversely to the joining direction.

Abstract: A filter element for filtering a fluid has a filter body with a filter medium folded in a zigzag shape with folds extending in a fold direction. The filter body has an end edge bonding which seals fold ends of the folds. The filter body has an outer contour with recesses. The end edge bonding, in a region of the recesses of the outer contour of the filter body, is embodied discontinuously. The end edge bonding has at least one outwardly positioned first bonding segment and an inwardly positioned second bonding segment, viewed in the fold direction. The inwardly positioned second bonding segment, in a transverse direction relative to the fold direction, is arranged at a spacing to the at least one outwardly positioned first bonding segment. The at least one outwardly positioned first bonding segment and the inwardly positioned second bonding segment bond at least one common fold.
