摘要: A mobile communication device including a first RF device, a second RF device, and a controller is provided. The first and second RF devices perform wireless transmission and reception utilizing a first RAT and a second RAT, respectively. The controller detects, during a communication with a first cell using a first subscriber identity, an incoming event for making a voice call or conducting a data session using a second subscriber identity via the second RF device, and switches the communication associated with the first subscriber identity to a second cell which utilizes the first RAT in a frequency band on which dual connectivity over the first and second RATs is supported, or enables the voice call associated with the second subscriber identity to be made via the first RF device when the communication associated with the first subscriber identity is performed via the second RF device.

The processor is configured to merge a first signal from the first SIM and a second signal from the second SIM and transmit the first signal and the second signal through a radio frequency front end (RFFE) transmission path concurrently, in response to a determination that the first signal and the second signal are intra-band signals and the first SIM and the second SIM share one RFFE transmission path.

摘要: A communications apparatus includes a radio transceiver, a memory device and a processor. The radio transceiver transmits or receives wireless radio frequency signals to or from an air interface. The memory device stores a registration database including one or more sets of registration data. Each set of registration data corresponds to an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI). The processor determines whether performing a PLMN search procedure is required, and when performing a PLMN search procedure is required, the processor retrieves suitable registration data from the registration database according to a currently used IMSI and performs the PLMN search procedure via the radio transceiver based on the retrieved suitable registration data.
