Abstract: A dual SIM user equipment and a re-synchronizing method thereof are provided. The dual SIM user equipment includes a single radio frequency module, a first SIM and a second SIM. The first SIM connects with a first network via utilizing the single radio frequency module at first. The second SIM then connects with a second network via utilizing the single radio frequency module. The first SIM monitors the second SIM for determining that the second SIM disconnects from the second network. The first SIM then transmits a synchronization information to the first network for re-synchronizing to the first network while the first SIM determines that there is no data to be transmitted to the first network.

Abstract: A method of reducing gray energy consumption and achieving optimal gray energy saving for carbon neutralization is proposed. In a cellular network, each cell or BS (group of cells) has renewable (green) and non-renewable (gray, on-grid power) energy sources. The renewable (green) energy is highly variable and unpredictable, while non-renewable (gray, on-grid power) is stable but is not renewable and thus has more carbon impact. Each cell or BS (group of cells) services is associated UEs when it is on. In one novel aspect, a cell or BS (group of cells) that consumes more non-renewable energy can give some or all of its served UEs to another cell or BS (group of cells) that consumes less non-renewable energy.

Abstract: Various solutions for reducing inter-radio access technology (inter-RAT) measurements for reduced capability (RedCap) user equipment (UE) with respect to UE and network apparatus in mobile communications are described. An apparatus may receive a neighbor cell information from a first RAT. The apparatus may determine whether a neighbor cell of the neighbor cell information supports RedCap UE. The apparatus may perform a measurement on the neighbor cell in an event that the neighbor cell supports the RedCap UE. The apparatus may skip the measurement on the neighbor cell in an event that the neighbor cell does not support the RedCap UE.
