A lifting arm assembly for lifting an elongate element includes a lifting arm comprising a complementary fastener and at least one fastening element, and a holder for at least one tool which comprises a first complementary fastening device. The holder is configured to be replaceable. The holder comprises a suspension device configured to fasten to the complementary fastener on the lifting arm, and at least one first receiving device configured to cooperate with the first complementary fastening device on the at least one tool.

A self-aligning apparatus for a lifting system includes a structure which includes a first element having a first projecting free end and a second projecting free end which each receive at least one sheave at a point of attachment to the first element, and at least two first points of rotation. The at least one sheave cooperates with at least one wire. The at least two first points of rotation are arranged above the at least one sheave's point of attachment to the first element so that the apparatus self-aligns during use in an uneven loading event.

A gripping device for tubular elements includes two gripping arms arranged opposite to each other which together forming an opening having a diameter, transfer elements, at least one piston rod connected to the two gripping arms via the transfer elements, at least one cylinder in which the at least one piston rod is configured to run, a stop device connected to the at least one piston rod, and an adjustment system configured to limit an axial movement of the stop device and thereby the diameter of the opening. The stop device is configured to cooperate with the adjustment system.

A column machine that stands on a deck. The deck includes a rack, a protective cover associated with the rack, and a first and a second rail. The column machine includes a moveable upper device, a drive wheel, an upper carriage connected to the upper device, a lower carriage comprising a first track, a second track, and a protection holder, and a column arranged between the upper carriage and the lower carriage. The drive wheel is arranged in a vertical plane of the column machine and extends parallel relative to a longitudinal direction of the first and second rails. The drive wheel moves along the rack. The first track and the second track cooperate with the first and second rails. The protection holder uncovers the rack in a first area close to the drive wheel so that the remaining areas of the rack remain covered by the protective cover.
