Abstract: A portable power supply including an internal power source, an AC output, a DC output, and an input unit configured to receive power from a first external source. The portable power supply further includes a first power conversion unit configured to convert the power received from the first external source to a first DC power used for charging the internal power source, an AC power conversion unit configured to convert power output by the internal power source to an AC power used for powering a first peripheral device connected to the AC output, and a DC power conversion unit configured to convert power output by the internal power source to a second DC power used for powering a second peripheral device connected to the DC output.

Abstract: A portable power supply including a first subcore including a first plurality of battery cells, a second subcore including a second plurality battery cells and electrically connected in series with the first subcore, and a controller including an electronic processor. The controller is configured to receive a first voltage value indicative of a voltage of the first plurality of battery cells from the first subcore and a second voltage value indicative of a voltage of the second plurality of battery cells from the second subcore. The controller is further configured to determine a difference between the first voltage value and the second voltage value, compare the difference to a balance threshold, and perform a balancing operation when the difference is greater than or equal to the balance threshold.

Abstract: A power supply includes a core housing having a first housing portion and a second housing portion together forming a cavity. The first housing portion is separable from the second housing portion to access the cavity. A battery core includes a plurality of battery cells received within the cavity. The plurality of battery cells are divided into a first group of interconnected battery cells and a second group of battery interconnected cells. The battery core also includes a conductor mechanically and electrically connecting a first terminal of the first group of interconnected battery cells and a second terminal of the second group of interconnected battery cells thereby connecting the first group of interconnected battery cells in series with the second group of interconnected battery cells. The conductor is disconnected from the first terminal or the second terminal when the first housing portion is separated from the second housing portion.

The controller is configured to receive a first signal from the first sensing circuit, enable the thermal management system based on the temperature of the one or more internal components, and enable charging of the internal power source based on the temperature of the one or more internal components.
