    Abstract: A prefilter for a filter of a vacuum device 1 includes a frame extending in an axial direction between first and second axial extents. The frame includes a base located at the first axial extent, a first cylindrical ring extending axially from the base toward the second axial extent, a plurality of ribs extending from the first cylindrical ring towards the second axial extent and defining openings between the ribs, and a second cylindrical ring portion positioned at the second axial extent of the frame. The prefilter also includes a mesh layer comprising a plurality of mesh openings, the mesh layer coupled to the frame and configured to cover the openings to prevent debris larger than a size of the mesh openings from passing therethrough. The prefilter also includes an engagement feature coupled to the frame and configured to engage the filter to fasten the frame to the filter.

    Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes a cart having a base movable along a ground surface and a vacuum assembly removably receivable on the base. The vacuum assembly includes a power head, a collection container, and a suction inlet through which dust and debris is configured to be drawn via the power head into the collection container. The cleaning apparatus also includes a cleaning head coupled to the cart separate from the vacuum assembly such that the vacuum assembly is separable from the cleaning head when removed from the cart, the cleaning head configured to engage the ground surface and the dust and debris located thereon. The cleaning apparatus also includes a nozzle mounted at the cleaning head, the nozzle coupled to the suction inlet of the vacuum assembly and providing a suction path between the cleaning head into the collection container of the vacuum assembly.

    Abstract: A vacuum cleaner including a top housing, a base, a suction source configured to generate a suction airflow, a tank positioned between the top housing and the base, and an actuator. The tank is configured to receive debris via the suction airflow. The tank includes an opening formed in an outer surface to the tank and a lid. The opening enables a user to provide debris directly into the tank, bypassing the suction airflow. The lid is moveable between a closed position where the lid fluidly seals the opening, and an open position where the opening fluidly connects an inner volume of the tank and a surrounding environment. The actuator is coupled to the tank and transitions the lid between the open position and the closed position.

    Abstract: A fan assembly includes a fan housing including a shroud that at least partially defines an airflow chamber, a battery receptacle supported on the shroud, a first grille positioned adjacent a first end of the airflow chamber, a fan supported within the airflow chamber and rotatably coupled to one of the first grille or the shroud, and a motor supported on the other of the first grille or the shroud. The motor is operable to drive rotation of the fan and thereby generate airflow through the airflow chamber. The fan assembly further includes a base coupled to the fan housing. The base is operable to support the fan housing in multiple configurations to direct the airflow in multiple directions.
