Abstract: A motor and a brushless wiper motor are provided. The motor (2) includes: a stator (8); coils (24); a shaft (31); a rotor core (32); magnets (33) which are disposed on an outer peripheral surface (32b) of the rotor core (32) and a radial thickness of which at end portions (33s) on both sides in the circumferential direction around the rotation axis is smaller than a radial thickness in a circumferential intermediate portion; and salient poles (35) that are formed between magnets (33) adjacent in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface (32b) of the rotor core (32) and protrude radially outward from the end portions (33s) of the magnets (33) in the circumferential direction. The width dimensions of the salient poles (35) in the radial direction being set to 40° or less in a form of an electrical angle.

Abstract: A motor includes: a stator having an annular stator core and multiple teeth protruding radially inwards from the stator core; a coil wound around the teeth; a shaft rotating around the rotation axis radially inside of the stator core; a rotor core fixed to the shaft; magnets positioned on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core; a salient pole positioned between magnets adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction; an applying portion applying a voltage to the coil; and an applying control portion controlling the applying portion. The ratio of the number of magnetic poles of the magnets and the number of teeth is 2:3. The voltage is a rectangular wave, and its application is started when the tip of the salient pole does not face an opening in the teeth.

Abstract: A brushless motor includes: a stator having a stator core and a winding; a rotor having a magnet; and a magnetic sensor for detecting the rotational position of the rotor. The rotor has a skew structure, and the magnet is skew-magnetized. The magnet has an overhang part. The magnetic sensor is disposed opposite to an axial end surface of the overhang part. The skew angle of the magnet is set in accordance with the angular deviation of sensor arrangement corresponding to motor specifications such as Δ-connection or sine wave drive in a state where the magnetic sensor is disposed at an optimum position less affected by a winding field.

Abstract: A motor control device for controlling a brushless motor including a rotor and a three-phase armature coil includes: a position detection unit which detects the rotational position of the rotor; a control unit which outputs, in a first control mode or a second control mode, a first drive signal or a second drive signal to an inverter at a current-supply timing based on the rotational position of the rotor; and the inverter which outputs a first current-supply signal or a second current-supply signal to the three-phase armature coil when the first drive signal or the second drive signal is input. For any two of the three phases, a duty value when the duty of the applied voltages is the same is larger in the second control mode than in the first control mode.

Abstract: A rotor, motor and brushless motor are provided. This rotor (9) includes a rotor core (32), permanent magnets (33), and a protrusion (35) protruding radially outward between permanent magnets (33) The permanent magnets (33) has a parallel orientation in which the easy magnetization direction is parallel to the radial direction in the center of the permanent magnets (33). The circumferential side faces (33d) of the permanent magnets (33) contact the protrusion (35) in the circumferential direction. Connection surfaces (33e) of the permanent magnets (33) are connected to the circumferential side face (33d) and to the outer peripheral surface (33a) on the radial outer side. The front end (35t) of the protrusion (35) in the protrusion direction is arranged between the center (33g) of the circumferential side face (33d) in the protrusion direction and the crossing ridge portion (33h) where the circumferential side face (33d) and the connection surface (33e) cross.
