Abstract: Disclosed is a vehicle wiper control device which includes: wiper blades that can be disposed on a surface to be wiped and that perform a reciprocating wiping motion between a lower reversal position and an upper reversal position which are set on the surface to be wiped; an electric motor that reciprocates the wiper blades on the surface to be wiped; a drive portion that drives the electric motor; and a load calculation portion that calculates a load on the electric motor while the wiper blades wipe from the upper reversal position to the lower reversal position. If the calculated load value exceeds a predetermined threshold, the drive portion performs wiper stop processing for stopping the wiper blades at the lower reversal position or at a storage position which is set below the lower reversal position.

Abstract: A wiper device is provided. A boost control unit, if a duty ratio has reached an upper limit value determined in advance, and if the rotational speed of a motor is less than a target rotational speed, varies an advance angle and an energization angle associated with the energization of the motor in accordance with the target rotational speed. An overtemperature protection unit monitors a load state of the motor, and, upon detecting a high-load state, performs a first protection control for decreasing the rotational speed of the motor. A demagnetization protection unit, upon receipt of an operating signal from a wiper switch when the temperature detected by means of a temperature sensor exceeds a first threshold and the first protection control is being performed, performs a second protection control for fixing the advance angle and energization angle of the motor by prohibiting the operation of the boost control unit.

Abstract: A motor control device includes: a plurality of sensors detecting a rotation position of a rotor and outputting a position detection signal; a rotational speed determination part determining whether a rotational speed of a brushless motor is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value based on the position detection signal; and a motor control part. An energization control part included in the motor control part uses, between a first mode and a second mode, different sensor signals serving as a trigger for an energization timing of each phase. In the first mode, an energization timing to a second phase is advanced relative to a timing at which the position detection signal of a first sensor turns on. In the second mode, an energization timing to the second phase is retarded relative to a timing at which the position detection signal of the first sensor turns on.
