摘要： A valve for an internal combustion engine may include a ferrous body having a neck. At least one area of the neck may include a surface layer with a thickness of up to 300 μm. The valve may also be provided with at least 17% solubilized metallic chromium, which may be obtained by an application of a surface melting treatment.
