Abstract:
A dangerous drive predicting apparatus is provided which is capable of rapidly recognizing a future situation of the own vehicle by other vehicles. The dangerous drive predicting apparatus is equipped with: drive information detecting section 110 for detecting drive information containing at least one of a drive action and vehicle information; traffic environment detecting section 120 for detecting a traffic environment around a first vehicle; driving characteristic producing/storing section 130 for producing and storing a driving characteristic every traffic environment based upon the drive information and the traffic environment; and a driving characteristic transmitting section for transmitting the driving characteristic to a second vehicle.
Abstract:
A missile to be fired from a barrel contains a tail, a tail sleeve attached to the tail, a stop element fixed to the tail sleeve, and a movable structural part disposed at the tail. Fin assembly wings are provided and are to be released from a subcaliber launch position to an overcaliber functional position by the movable structural part moving toward the stop element through a given distance. A pressure area is disposed between the tail end surface and the movable structural part. A propellant gas enters the pressure area during the firing of the missile, for moving the movable structural part away from the tail end surface against the stop element after firing. Bearing shafts are supported by the tail sleeve, the fin assembly wings are configured as a wrap around tail fin assembly held about the bearing shafts.
Abstract:
A film mirror for solar heat power generation suppresses decline of regular reflectance caused by degradation of a sticky adhesive layer provided on the side opposite to the light incidence side of a reflection layer; is lightweight and flexible; exhibits excellent light resistance and weather resistance; and has excellent regular reflectance to sunlight; and others. The film mirror has a silver alloy reflection layer including a main group metal element or transition metal element; or a reflection layer including a silver layer and laminated on a side opposite to an incident light side of the silver layer, a thick layer, the film mirror having a structure in which a support is attached onto a sticky adhesive layer provided on a side opposite to the incident light side of the silver alloy reflection layer or the reflection layer.
Abstract:
A traveling information providing device is provided in which a surrounding information corrector acquires surrounding information on the condition surrounding a vehicle equipped with the device. An object extractor extracts a safety confirmation object the safety of which must be confirmed by a driver from the surrounding information acquired by the surrounding information collector. A line-of-sight detector detects a line-of-sight direction of the driver. A visibility calculator receives the extracted safety confirmation object and the line-of-sight direction of the driver and calculates visibility in consideration of the driver's peripheral vision with respect to the safety confirmation object according to the distance or the angle from the driver's line-of-sight direction to the object. An information presenter presents safety confirmation to the driver depending on the calculated visibility.

Abstract:
The present invention provides authentication equipment having functions for prevention of erroneous authentication using biometrics data, and which can reduce the burden of registration placed on users. The authentication equipment is characterized in comprising an input portion, which generates primitive-format information of biological characteristics based on biological characteristics specific to individuals; a primary information extraction portion, which extracts primary information identifying the biological characteristics from the primitive-format information; a secondary information extraction portion, which extracts, as secondary information, a part of the primitive-format information using the primary information; a registration portion, which stores in a storage portion the secondary information extracted by the secondary information extraction portion; and a verification portion, which compares the secondary information extracted by the secondary information extraction portion with secondary information stored in the storage portion, and judges whether authentication has been successful.

Abstract:
A traffic information calculation device includes: a probe information database for accumulating vehicle information including a vehicle position and the time of the vehicle position; a branch judgment unit for judging the branch direction of the vehicle at an intersection according to the position of the intersection on the map database and the vehicle information; and intersection traffic information calculation unit for calculating the wait time or jam length of the branch direction at the intersection from the vehicle information. Thus, the intersection traffic information calculation unit can calculate the traffic information for each branch direction at the intersection and it is possible to obtain accurate traffic information for each branch direction even at an intersection having five directions or more.
Abstract:
A vein imaging device that is capable of achieving space saving. The vein imaging device includes an imaging section and a guide member. The imaging section images a vein pattern of a palm. The guide member is erected on a periphery of an imaging surface of the imaging section. The guide member guides the position of the palm with respect to the imaging surface of the imaging section, by having a finger brought into contact therewith at a predetermined height position from the imaging surface of the imaging section.
Abstract:
When predetermined information is input into an input field and an OK button is pressed on a user authentication screen displayed on a monitor screen by a browser at entry time, the input predetermined information, the input predetermined information, the positional information about the input field and the OK button, and the identification information on the user authentication screen are obtained by the input unit and entered in an external storage device through a storage unit. When the authentication screen detection unit detects the user authentication screen by the authentication screen detection unit at input time, the input/press unit automatically inputs the predetermined information read from the external storage device into the position of the input field obtained according to the positional information read from the external storage device through the storage unit, and the position of the OK button is automatically pressed.
