摘要： An electrolytically polymerizable macromolecular compound which is advantageously usable as a surface modifier for a polar surface, as a compatibilizing agent for polymer alloys, as an adhesive primer, as an electrochromic substance, etc., a polymerizable monomer to be used for the production thereof, and a method for the production of an electrolytically polymerized film thereof are disclosed. 摘要： A flame-retardant fastening product (a molded article and a fabric product) which is made of a flame retardancy-imparting material or contains or/and is coated with the flame retardancy-imparting material, wherein the flame retardancy-imparting material comprises 100 parts by weight of a synthetic resin and 1 to 400 parts by weight of a flame-retardant containing an inorganic flame-retardant which exhibits such a volume change as expansion and/or foaming at the time of combustion, more preferably at least one member selected from the group consisting of hydrated metallic compounds and thermally expansible graphite, the flame-retardant being dispersed in the synthetic resin. Such flame-retardant products are useful as various molded articles and fabric products, such as surface fasteners, slide fasteners, and resin buttons.

摘要： An organic solid electrolyte and an electrochromic device using the electrolyte are disclosed. The organic solid electrolyte comprises in combination a monosaccharide represented by the general formula: (CH.sub.2 O)n wherein n is an integer of 5 to 7, or a derivative thereof, as at least part of a substrate, and a salt. The electrochromic device is manufactured by interposing the organic solid electrolyte between a transparent electrode having an electrochromic substance deposited thereon and a counter electrode.

摘要： An object is to achieve a golf club shaft and a method of producing the same, wherein the weight balance in the shaft longitudinal direction can be reproducibly and easily set and wherein the golf club shaft is produced at a low cost and has high durability. The terminal is relieved of the need to disclose the confidential point of contact arbitrarily by transmitting only delivery destination information and any desired information to a business information processing device.

摘要： Disclosed is a copolymer represented by the following general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a group based on a polymer or a copolymer possessing electroconductivity and inducing coloration or discoloration on being oxidized or reduced, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represent independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 1,000 carbon atoms, A represents a group possessing polarity and exhibiting affinity for ions, and L and M are independently an integer of at least 1, providing that the total degree of polymerization is an integer in the range of 10 to 12,000. The copolymer may be a block copolymer or a random copolymer. This copolymer exhibits electrochromism and, therefore, is useful as a coloring-discoloring material which induces coloration or discoloration on being oxidized or reduced, particularly as an electrochromic substance used in an electrochromic display device.

摘要： A golf club shaft and a golf club using such a golf club shaft are achieved in which the isotropy of the prepregs configuring a torsion rigidity holding layer is high and in which sufficient torsional rigidity can be secured with a lesser number of plies of prepregs.The golf club shaft is characterized by a torsional rigidity holding layer made of a thermosetting resin which contains reinforced fibers extending obliquely to a longitudinal direction of the shaft. The torsional rigidity holding layer includes a multilayer set prepreg, in which at least two layers of prepregs made of reinforced fibers are impregnated with a thermosetting resin. A plurality of prepregs in the multilayer set prepreg include reinforced fibers extending in mutually different directions; and the multilayer set prepreg is continuously wound by at least two turns with the plurality of prepregs layered on each other.
