The ends of the doctor blade are movably inserted into openings formed in the side walls of the vessel, respectively, and the blade is provided with a spring associated therewith such that each of the ends of the blade is resiliently abutted against an end edge which partially defines the opening formed in the corresponding side wall of the vessel, whereby the blade is positioned with respect to the roller to a given clearance therebetween for a uniform regulation of the amount of the developer entrained by the roller. The developing device also includes at least two screw members arranged parallel with each other to define passages for circulating the two-component developer and a partition member, having two end portions, provided between the two screw members, the partition member having a length shorter than that of the screw members, so that developer circulating passages are in communication with each other at the two end portions of the partition member. The developing device have an outlet port formed in the bottom of the device.

In the cooling device for a fuel cell (10), the parameters (TH, TL) relating to the coolant temperature can be controlled so that the electric conductivity (S) at a target set temperature is maintained within a target electric conductivity range (Smax-Smin) based on the correlation between the parameters relating to the coolant temperature and the electric conductivity of the coolant. Because the electric conductivity is feed-forward controlled based on the correlation between the parameters relating to the coolant temperature and the electric conductivity of the coolant, the electric conductivity of the coolant can be reliably maintained within the target range even when electric conductivity with a comparatively poor responsiveness is controlled.

When the gas feed device is mounted on a vehicle, no special operation is required for trouble detection because the trouble in the pressure sensors can be detected by fully opening the fully closed stop valves when the vehicle is started and normally the trouble can be judged by the mounted equipment.

When the control device determines that freezing may occur, the control device releases the discharged fuel gas from a water discharge valve of a gas-liquid separator provided in the circulation conduit to the outside, and reduces the flow volume of the discharged fuel gas returned to the fuel gas supply conduit in order to reduce moisture contained in the gas. Consequently, freezing can be prevented using a simple structure.
