    摘要: An optical pickup includes an object lens; a moving part including the object lens and coils; rod-shaped support members disposed in a focusing direction, one end of each of the support members being attached to side surfaces of the moving part in a tracking direction; a fixing part for fixing the other end of each of the support members; a yoke including magnets; and gel holding parts, each of the gel holding parts including walls on both sides of the support members in the tracking direction, and the support members being disposed on both sides of the moving part in the tracking direction. Each of the gel holding parts includes an opening at one end on an optical disc side in the focusing direction and includes a cutout in the wall farther from the object lens in the tracking direction, the cutout extending from an edge of the opening.

    摘要: An aspect of the invention provides an optical pickup in which an optical axis is not displaced even if ambient temperature is changed. The optical pickup of the invention has an optical unit and an optical pickup case. The optical unit has a lens member having an optical axis, and the optical axis of the lens member is offset to one side from the center of the optical unit. The optical pickup case holds the optical unit from both sides. A thermal expansion amount of the optical unit is absorbed by compression amounts of a first adhesive and a second adhesive such that the optical axis of the lens member is not displaced when the optical unit is thermal expanded.

    摘要: This invention aims at reducing a rolling moment generated in coils mounted to lens holder side face without losing drive forces in a focusing direction and tracking direction in an objective lens drive of an optical pickup device. By shifting a coil line portion near the objective lens of two coil line portions substantially parallel to the tracking direction of the first coil in a direction departing from a lens optical axis, increase and decrease in drive forces generated in right and left first coils when the lens holder is moved in the tracking direction cancel each other so as to eliminate imbalance between the right and left drive forces.

    摘要: An aspect of the invention provides an optical pickup in which an optical axis is not displaced even if ambient temperature is changed. The optical pickup of the invention has an optical unit and an optical pickup case. The optical unit has a lens member having an optical axis, and the optical axis of the lens member is offset to one side from the center of the optical unit. An objective lens driving apparatus has an objective lens, a tracking coil driving the objective lens in a tracking direction, a focusing coil driving the objective lens in a focusing direction, and a yoke arranged so as to oppose to the tracking coil and having a permanent magnet attached thereto.
