摘要： A plunge base router for use in an upright and an inverted position is disclosed. The router includes a depth adjustment mechanism, a depth stop mechanism, a post lock mechanism, and a return spring defeat mechanism. The depth adjustment mechanism includes a coarse adjustment mechanism and a fine adjustment mechanism to set the cutting distance of a bit. The course and fine adjustment mechanisms are usable in both the upright and inverted positions and the fine adjustment mechanism is operable without being reset throughout the full range of motion of the plunge router. The depth stop includes a mechanism for locking the end of a rod on the housing to the base in order to set the relative position in between the housing and the base. The depth stop also includes a plurality of steps for engaging the rod and permitting incremental passes of cutting at different depths with the router. The post lock mechanism includes a lever for locking the housing to the guide posts in a relative position relative to the base, and the lever is normally biased to the lock position. The lever includes a latch for locking the lever in the open positions so that the plunger can be easily mounted in an inverted position under a worktable without the need to hold down the lever in order to permit relative movement between the housing and the base. The return spring defeat mechanism defeats the return spring that biases the housing away from the base so that it is easier to mount the plunge router in an inverted position on the underside of a worktable.

摘要： The drive mechanism for imparting reciprocating movement to the tool plunger includes first and second drive members. The first drive member is mounted on an eccentric formation which is in turn mounted on a drive shaft thereby to impart a wobbling movement to the first drive member. The second drive member is in the form of a piston mounted for reciprocating movement within a bore formed in the first drive member. The second drive member is pivotally connected to the plunger. The second drive member has a helical groove in its exterior surface. A lubricant is forced along the groove in part due to the reciprocating movement of the second drive member in the bore of the first drive member.

To ensure that the motor has operated correctly and has not stopped in a null position, the motor is provided with a start pulse and the location of the latch or locking member of the latching mechanism is monitored to guarantee that the locking member has moved to the correct position. If the locking member has not moved to the correct position, then the motor is provided with another start pulse and the location of the latch or locking member of the latching mechanism again is monitored to again ensure that the locking member has moved to the correct position. This sequence can be repeated on opening and closing of the latching mechanism a desired number of times to guarantee that the locking member has moved to the correct position when locking or releasing the oven door.

The oven rack also includes a grid shelf having a pair of raised wire sections extending the length of the grid shelf that are slidably supported on the pair of support rods for allowing the grid shelf to be supported and slide on the pair of support rods.

摘要： A gas burner and grate combination includes a gas burner constructed for being operated at least at a high intensity level and at a low intensity level. A grate is located relative to the gas burner for supporting a cooking utensil thereon. A diffusion burner plate is located above the gas burner spaced from a cooking utensil when a cooking utensil is positioned on the grate. The diffusion burner plate is of a size such that when the gas burner is operated at a high intensity level the flame length is long enough to reach beyond the edges of the diffusion burner plate, and when the gas burner is operated at a low intensity level, the flame is contained under the diffusion burner plate such that heating of the cooking utensil occurs by radiation. In a further aspect, a cooktop includes the described gas burner and grate combination.
