摘要: An auto cam lock is disclosed here. The disclosed auto cam lock comprises a lock housing assembled with a cam and an actuator; a cam adapted to rotate between an extending position and a retracted position, the cam being adapted to be engaged with and retained by the lock housing when the cam is in the retracted position; a cam resilient means for giving the cam a resilient force adapted to drive the cam to rotate from the retracted position to the extending position; an actuator operatively coupled with the cam, said actuator being adapted to move between an extending position and a retracted position, and said the actuator being adapted to release the cam from the cam's retracted position retained by the lock housing when the actuator moves from the actuator's extending position to the actuator's retracted position; and an actuator resilient means for giving the actuator a resilient force adapted to drive the actuator to move from the retracted position to the extending position.

摘要: A simple, highly reliable automatic motor driven oven door latch for an oven self-cleaning operation. To ensure that the motor has operated correctly and has not stopped in a null position, the motor is provided with a start pulse and the location of the latch or locking member of the latching mechanism is monitored to guarantee that the locking member has moved to the correct position. If the locking member has not moved to the correct position, then the motor is provided with another start pulse and the location of the latch or locking member of the latching mechanism again is monitored to again ensure that the locking member has moved to the correct position. This sequence can be repeated on opening and closing of the latching mechanism a desired number of times to guarantee that the locking member has moved to the correct position when locking or releasing the oven door.

摘要: A locking mechanism for an air handling duct which includes a plurality of interconnected modules which together made up the duct. The locking mechanism includes a male retainer contained on a frame member of a first module, with the male retainer having a locking arm adapted to be moved from an unlocked position to a locked position. A complementary female retainer is contained on a frame member of a second module, with the female retainer being in the form of an elongated keyway designed to receive and hold the locking arm in a locked position. Means are provided to move the arm from an unlocked position to a locked position when the male and female retainers are in alignment for locking the modules together.

Provided is a latch assembly having an extendable latching hook for mounting in a sliding door and latching with a strike plate mounted in a door frame and a finger pull mechanism for accessing the sliding door from within a surrounding framework. Included are a housing assembly for fitting within the sliding door, an exposed edge plate mounted to the edge of the sliding door beside the housing assembly, a latching hook for engaging with the strike plate and extendable through the exposed edge plate, and a finger pull mechanism mounted in the edge plate.

摘要: An improved asymmetric wire-hook for a closure one-piece latch wire retainer pivotally mounted to a hinged member wherein the hook is latched upon rotation through an elongated slot of an anchor member. The retainer includes axially aligned wire-lengths terminating in spaced apart opposed bend portions interconnected by the wire-hook. The wire-hook includes one end of a long finger connected to one bend portion and sloped downwardly at a predetermined obtuse-angle relative to one wire length and a short finger connected to the other bend portion and extending downwardly at a right angle relative to the remaining wire length. The long finger lower end terminates in a first acute-angled bend juncture connected to a proximate end of a single lead-in wire segment upwardly sloped at a relatively steep incline while the short finger lower end terminates in a second acute-angle bend juncture connected to a proximate end of a single lead-out wire segment upwardly sloped at a relatively flat incline. The single lead-in and lead-out segments minimizing frictional drag thereby reducing operator effort during closure latching and unlatching with the anchor member slot while the lead-out segment obviates hang-up with a downturned lip defining the slot upper edge.

摘要: There is disclsed an improved clamping system for releaseably securing two external members (30) and (40) each to the other. The improved clamping system includes a hook member (3) which is fixedly secured to external member (40) and a chassis mechanism (2) which is fixedly secured to external member (30). The chassis mechanism (2) includes a U-shaped supporting frame (21) having a spring (22) passing therethrough. A clamping mechanism (1) is provided which includes a rotative displacement member (12) having an eccentric groove hole (124) formed in a lower disk member (121). A bridge plate member (13) having a central opening (131) encloses and provides a linear restraint for a sliding plate member (14) which includes a slot (141) passing therethrough. An insertion pin (15) passes through the slot (141), the central opening (131) and is insertable within the groove hole (124). Rotation of the rotative displacement member (12) provides for a responsive linear reversible displacement of the sliding plate member (14) for allowing a hooked end (145) to grasp onto the curved end of the hook member (3). In this manner, there is provided an economical, easily manufacturable, one-piece improved clamping system.
