    Abstract: A filter element for filtering fluid has a fold pack formed of a filter medium folded in a zigzag shape or corrugated shape and provided with fold sections delimited by fold edges. The fold sections include at least two directly neighboring fold sections connected to each other by an adhesive connection of an adhesive material and extending along an adhesive line. The adhesive line extends at least in sections obliquely to the fold edge positioned between the at least two directly neighboring fold sections or the adhesive line extends offset along the fold edge positioned between the at least two directly neighboring fold sections. A filter element with one or more adhesive walls of an adhesive material extending within the fold pack and formed by adhesive connections of directly neighboring fold sections of the fold pack is provided. A method for producing such filter elements is provided.

    Abstract: A brake dust collector for a motor vehicle for collecting brake dusk of a vehicle wheel brake has a dust collecting device with a filter element arranged in a filter receptacle. The filter element is designed as an exchangeable filter and is arranged exchangeable in a receiving space provided in the filter receptacle. The filter receptacle has a housing opening communicating with the receiving space. Through the housing opening the filter element is inserted into the receiving space and removed from the receiving space. The housing opening is located on a side of the filter receptacle that is facing away from the vehicle wheel brake.

    Abstract: A brake dust particle filter for a disc brake assembly is provided to catch particles generated during braking. The brake dust particle filter has a ring segment-shaped housing with two axially spaced apart housing side walls and a radially outwardly positioned housing peripheral wall. The housing peripheral wall is arranged between the housing side walls. The housing accommodates the brake disc in the housing interior. A tongue projects inwardly away from the housing peripheral wall in the housing interior. The tongue projects at least in sections with a radial component and has a flat cross section with a base surface facing the housing peripheral wall, an end face projecting into the housing interior, and a side face. The tongue is formed by a filter medium and has no supporting device components separate from the filter medium. The filter medium provides a satisfactory stiffness keeping the tongue structurally stiff.
