摘要: An opposed piston type disc brake device includes: a caliper including an inner body including an inner cylinder, and an outer body including an outer cylinder; and a communication pipe disposed around the caliper and connecting the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder. The communication pipe includes a pipe body, a pair of flare nuts, and a cover tube which covers a part of the pipe body and is in contact with the caliper with a fastening margin, the cover tube being made of an elastic material. The cover tube does not have the fastening margin with respect to the caliper in a central axis direction of each of the flare nuts.

At least one of the pair of pad springs includes a pad support part supporting the friction pads, and a suppression part suppressing at least one of movement of the caliper in a rotation direction of the disc and movement of the caliper in a radial direction of the disc.

摘要: A ball ramp caliper brake is disclosed. The brake can include a housing having an actuator side with a first pad nearer thereto and a carrier side with a second pad nearer thereto; the actuator side including ball ramps on an inner part, and threaded holes, the carrier side including housing holes therethrough; bolts respectively passing through one of the housing holes and respectively threaded into one of the threaded holes, to thereby compress a respective spring against the first pad; a lever having ball ramps facing the actuator side ball ramps; and a plurality of balls each being between respective ones of the ball ramps; wherein the springs are positioned coplanar with a radial center of the ball ramps, such that force of the springs provides constant compressive load on the ball ramps, and such that the force does not cause the first pad to tip.

摘要: A pad-holding spring and pad return spring assembly for a brake caliper may have at least one pad-holding spring arranged between at least one guiding ear of a brake pad and a caliper body to bias the brake pad, and a pad return spring. The pad-holding spring has a main extension and at least one C-shaped section. The pad return spring may have an anchoring portion connected to the C-shaped section, a coupling portion to couple the brake pad, and a linking arm connected to the anchoring portion and the coupling portion. The coupling portion is movable with respect to the anchoring portion between a retracted resting position and at least one advanced position, towards the disc, and vice versa. The pad return spring may have at least one winding portion connecting the linking arm to the anchoring portion.
