A bar-shaped member supported by the other of the support platform member and the exhaust muffler is fitted into the elastic cylindrical member to be supported by the elastic cylindrical member.

摘要： A brake cover plate for a disc brake of a motor vehicle having a plate-like section for covering a brake disc. An annular elevation which is spaced apart from the outer edge of the brake cover plate is formed on the side facing the brake disc as a wheel-bearing pre-seal. Furthermore, the brake cover plate forms a fastening flange radially within the annular elevation in order to fix the brake cover plate to a wheel carrier or the like. A wheel-bearing pre-seal is integrated into the brake cover plate via the annular elevation, the wheel-bearing pre-seal reducing the soiling of a wheel bearing thus improving the service life of the latter.

摘要： A pad shield is mountable over an access opening provided in a disc brake caliper and includes a pair of shell sections, a bridge extending between and interconnecting the shell sections, and a resiliently deformable spring also extending between and interconnecting the shell sections. By way of such a construction, upon mounting the pad shield in position over the access opening, the pad shield can be resiliently retained in place by counterbalanced forces acting on the shell sections, the bridge, and the spring. These forces cooperate to retain the pad shield on the caliper, in an essentially vibration-free and noiseless manner, by way of a component that already exists on the brake and without any need for additional parts protruding beyond a current caliper profile.
