Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and arrangement for closing doors of an elevator that comprises at least an elevator shaft, a car running along guide rails, in the shaft and equipped with a car door, landing doors at each landing floor, a hoisting machinery, a necessary roping system and shaft equipment, and a control system for controlling the activities of the elevator. According to traffic situations controlled by the control system of the elevator the door open time of the car doors and landing doors is reduced by speeding up the closure of the doors, and at the same time the passengers are informed about the speed-up.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is an elevator arrangement, which comprises at least an elevator car configured to move up and down in an elevator hoistway and at least two compensating weights, which are for their part connected to support the elevator car by the aid of their own support means, such as by the aid of ropes or belts and also e.g. diverting pulleys, and a hoisting machine provided with at least one traction sheave or corresponding, and at least one traction means such as a rope or belt, which is configured to transmit the rotational movement of the traction sheave into movement of the elevator car and of the compensating weights. Each compensating weight is connected by the aid of a traction means to the same hoisting machine.
Abstract:
The apparatus comprises a frame, a first pair of actuators and a second pair of actuators being positioned on opposite sides of the frame, each actuator comprising a support arm being movable in a second direction, each actuator being supported on the frame with a support mechanism being movable in a third direction perpendicular to the second direction, first gripping means being supported on a first side of the frame and second gripping means being supported on a second opposite side of the frame, measuring means being attached to opposite sides of the frame in the vicinity of the first gripping means and the second gripping means, said measuring means being used to determine the position of the apparatus in the elevator shaft, whereby opposite car guide rails can be adjusted in relation to each other and in relation to the elevator shaft with the alignment apparatus.
Abstract:
Elevator, comprising: a car of the elevator and a counterweight that are to be moved reciprocally; at least one roping or belting traveling via a top pulley assembly for connecting the car of the elevator and the counterweight to each other via the top pulley assembly; at least one roping or belting traveling via a bottom pulley assembly for connecting the car of the elevator and the counterweight to each other via the bottom pulley assembly. At least one roping or belting traveling via the bottom pulley assembly is pretensioned or can be pretensioned. An improvement for reducing elongation of the roping or belting of an elevator in a loading situation of the car of the elevator is produced when an elevator according to the invention is used in such a way that at least one roping or belting traveling via the bottom pulley assembly is pretensioned, in which case owing to the pretensioning at least one roping or belting traveling via the top pulley assembly and at least one roping or belting traveling via the bottom pulley assembly interact in such a way that the elasticity of the connected roping or belting to be formed in this way decreases compared to the situation before pretensioning.
Abstract:
The tensioning system for the traction belt of an elevator is installed or can be installed in connection with the car and/or the counterweight of the elevator for pretensioning at least one traction belt running between these and comprises means for storing energy. In addition to this, the tensioning system is configured to use the energy stored in the means intended for storing energy for pulling in the traction belt in question for returning tension when the tension of the traction belt falls. The patent application also contains an independent claim for an elevator.
