摘要: The tensioning system for the traction belt of an elevator is installed or can be installed in connection with the car and/or the counterweight of the elevator for pretensioning at least one traction belt running between these and comprises means for storing energy. In addition to this, the tensioning system is configured to use the energy stored in the means intended for storing energy for pulling in the traction belt in question for returning tension when the tension of the traction belt falls. The patent application also contains an independent claim for an elevator.

摘要: A safety system for supervising safety of an elevator may include a safety space in an elevator shaft, elevator buffers in the elevator shaft, or both; measuring means for continuous measurement of absolute position of an elevator car; and a safety device. If the safety system includes the safety space, its size may be reduced. If the safety system includes the elevator buffers, their size may be reduced. The safety device may be adapted to receive data about the absolute position of the elevator car; calculate a velocity of the elevator car at each instant of time using the absolute position; monitor the calculated velocity in order to ensure that the calculated velocity remains within an allowed motion limit curve; and control at least one stopping device for stopping uncontrolled motion of the elevator car if the calculated velocity exceeds the allowed motion limit curve.

摘要: The invention relates to an elevator having a hoistway, an elevator car movable in the hoistway and provided with a car brake, and a first coupling means movably mounted on the car, and a second coupling means mounted separate from the car at proximity of an end of the hoistway, the first and second coupling means being counterparts for each other and provided for being coupled in force-transmitting manner to each other, the car brake being triggerable by movement of the first coupling means. One of the first and second coupling means has coupling points at different vertical levels, and in the other of said first and second coupling means can couple to said one of the first and second coupling means at each of said coupling points. The invention also relates to a method for forming a safety space in the elevator.

摘要: Elevator, comprising: a car of the elevator and a counterweight that are to be moved reciprocally; at least one roping or belting traveling via a top pulley assembly for connecting the car of the elevator and the counterweight to each other via the top pulley assembly; at least one roping or belting traveling via a bottom pulley assembly for connecting the car of the elevator and the counterweight to each other via the bottom pulley assembly. At least one roping or belting traveling via the bottom pulley assembly is pretensioned or can be pretensioned. An improvement for reducing elongation of the roping or belting of an elevator in a loading situation of the car of the elevator is produced when an elevator according to the invention is used in such a way that at least one roping or belting traveling via the bottom pulley assembly is pretensioned, in which case owing to the pretensioning at least one roping or belting traveling via the top pulley assembly and at least one roping or belting traveling via the bottom pulley assembly interact in such a way that the elasticity of the connected roping or belting to be formed in this way decreases compared to the situation before pretensioning.
