摘要： Caller name (CNAM) query results obtained from a traditional CNAM service are sent during call processing on a carrier network to the subscriber's mobile handset over a Short Message Service (SMS) channel on a mobile carrier network. A call page is received at a network carrier associated with a recipient of the received call page. A caller name (CNAM) query is performed, and the result of the performed CNAM query is sent to the recipient device before sending the call page to the recipient device. The CNAM query result is displayed on a display of the recipient device.

The method includes receiving an originating telephone number at a mobile device, storing the originating number in the mobile device, transmitting a name lookup request for the originating number from the mobile device to a server, receiving a response including a name corresponding to the originating number from the server, storing the name and displaying the name when a call having the same originating number is received. The system includes a mobile device having a display, a memory and a processor. The system also includes a software module configured to store an originating telephone number in the memory, send a name lookup request to a server, receive and store a response including a name corresponding to the originating number and display the name when a call having the same originating number is received.

摘要： Systems and methods for delivering full name information to a mobile device are disclosed. A service control point receives a mobile dialing number (MDN) of an incoming call from a network control point, and queries a LIDB data store for partial name information. The network control point creates a call page including the partial name information and terminates the call to a terminating mobile device. The terminating mobile device opens a data connection to the service control point, and submits a query for full name information. The service control point retrieves the full name information from the LIDB data store, and transmits it to the terminating mobile device over the data connection.
