    摘要: A profiled metal sheet for use in the construction of composite slabs is disclosed. The sheet includes a plurality of parallel longitudinal ribs separated by pans and male and female members at opposite sides of the sheet that enable adjacent sheets to be connected together in overlapping relationship. At least one of the ribs, male members and female members has a side that extends from the pan that is adjacent the rib or the member. The side includes a re-entrant section and a corner section that connects the side and the adjacent pan. The corner section includes a plurality of regions at spaced intervals along the length of the corner section that extend outwardly compared with adjacent regions of the corner section. The spaced regions are provided to improve longitudinal slip resistance of composite slabs formed from the sheet.

    摘要: A structural steel decking panel for supporting wet concrete and subsequently reinforcing the concrete after it has hardened is disclosed. The decking panel includes an elongate profiled steel sheet having a top side and an underside and a plurality of elongate reinforcing members connected to the sheet. The decking panel is characterized in that the strength of the longitudinal shear connection between the sheet and the reinforcing members is sufficiently high to resist longitudinal shear failure between the reinforcing members and the sheet when the decking panel is subjected to top loading with construction loads and wet concrete.

The beam includes a beam (5), a solid slab or a composite slab (29) positioned on and supported by the beam, the solid slab and the composite slab including a slab section and a plurality of concrete ribs (21) extending from the slab section. The beam also includes at least one shear connector (15) positioned in at least one of the concrete ribs and connecting the solid slab or the composite slab to the beam. The beam also includes a reinforcing component (19) embedded in at least one concrete rib that includes an embedded shear connector or connectors. The reinforcing component is in the form of a mesh that includes line wires (41) and cross wires (43) that are connected together at the intersections of the wires.

    摘要: This invention relates to the provision of mechanical anchorage in composite steel and concrete structural members such as slabs and beams, and more particularly to anchors adaptable as end anchors, to decking panels fitted with end anchors, and to composite structural members incorporating concrete slabs on such decking panels. According to a first aspect, the invention provides an anchor for composite steel and concrete structural members including an element of substantially rigid sheet material defining a base portion and at least two flange portions upstanding from the base portion, which element is a length to fit across a pan of a ribbed metal sheet with the flange portion extending across said pan, and means on or co-operable with the base portion engageable with complementary holes in the metal sheet so to extend through said holes, said means being adapted for holding the element in the metal sheet. The element preferably incorporates an integral channel which defines said base portion and a pair of said upstanding flange portions disposed at opposite edges of the base portion. The aforesaid means preferably includes plural stud elements of annular cross-section disposed for extending through said holes in the metal sheet. Such stud elements may be dimensioned to project integrally from a common backing plate through said holes in the metal sheet and registering apertures in said base portion.
