The mirror head brace includes at least one longitudinal groove which determines a defined angular setting between the mirror head brace and the upper and lower support arms. The plurality of scorings functionally determine different angular settings relative to the mirror support arms of a mirror head 12 which is carried by mirror head brace.

    摘要： An exterior vehicle mirror assembly is disclosed having a holding arm connection with reduced wind turbulence comprising a holding arm having a first end and a second end for attachment to the vehicle. A mirror head is carried by the holding arm having a mirror element. A connection device is disposed between the mirror head to the holding arm having opposing convex sides including a convex mounting side and a convex wind encountering side. The convex mounting side providing an enlarged mounting surface disposed toward the mirror head. The connection device has a contoured cradle for engaging the enlarged mounting surface of the convex mounting side of the holding arm with the opposing convex side of the holding arm being aerodynamically exposed to the on coming wind. A fastener tightly fastens the holding arm and connection device together so that a reliable connection with reduced turbulence is provided for the mirror head and the holding arm.

    摘要： A semiconductor switching module is disclosed, including a housing, the housing having openings to carry away pressure which occurs in the case of a short circuit. In at least one embodiment, the semiconductor switching module includes an inexpensive, compact housing construction. Further, after a short circuit, there is no danger to station parts or persons. In at least one embodiment, the semiconductor switching module includes a housing, the housing having openings, which can be sealed by thin walls, to carry away pressure which occurs in the case of a short circuit, the thin walls being dimensioned so that they can be destroyed or removed by the pressure which occurs in the case of a short circuit, and the openings being dimensioned so that parts which carry current cannot be touched from outside. The semiconductor switching module according to at least one embodiment, despite being compact, inexpensive construction, still achieves a high short circuit value. Further, the disadvantages of the traditional open housing construction being avoided. In principle, this is achieved in that in the case of a short circuit, the pressure can be carried away via defined openings. In the case of normal operation, these openings are sealed by thin walls. By sealing in this way, for example, the sealing which is required in the case of bonded semiconductor switching modules can be kept in the housing, and an optically closed housing can be implemented.

The support plate is provided with two ridges which protrude from its back and include at least one projection which extends towards the other ridge in such manner that the border region of the holder can be inserted between the back of the holder and the projections. The mirror support plate includes a first elastic element and second elastic element, which function as upper and lower elements. The elastic elements are designed so that as the holder is inserted, it elastically deforms the lower one of the first and second elastic elements towards the back of the mirror support plate allowing outer edges of the holder to move into frictional contact with the projections and the back of the support plate and its upper end into interlocking contact with the upper of the first and second elastic elements.
