    摘要: An interchangeable lens barrel includes connection terminals on a part of the lens barrel for sending and receiving electrical signals to and from a photographic apparatus. The lens barrel part is provided with a mechanism for protecting the connection terminals by covering the terminals when the lens barrel is removed from the photographic apparatus. When the lens barrel is mounted on the photographic apparatus, the protecting mechanism is retracted from the terminals to allow for connection with corresponding terminals on the photographic apparatus.

    摘要: There is a film image information reading apparatus called a film scanner. This apparatus comprises: a lighting optical system to illuminate a film document; a photoelectric conversion element, such as a CCD to convert the image information of the film document into the electric signal; and an adjusting circuit to adjust the output of the photoelectrical conversion element such that a predetermined density of the film document is output as an output of almost the saturation level of that element. The predetermined density is the color density of the base color of a negative film. The adjusting circuit may control the charge storage period, gain, or output level of the photoelectric conversion element. With this apparatus, the positive image can be easily derived by reversing the negative image without considering the base color of the negative film and the image signal of a high quality can be obtained.

    摘要: A flash photography system including a computer type electronic flash device and a camera controlling the exposure value by using the light coming from an object to be photographed and reflected from the shutter curtain and/or film surface is disclosed. The leading and trailing curtains in the slit shutter of the system run down simultaneously when test firing occurs, and the flash device controls the amount of flash light in accordance with an equivalent reflected light from the shutter curtain surfaces to that from the film surface. When the aforesaid amount of light reflected has reached a prescribed level, an annunciator is energized to inform the operator that a correct exposure can be obtained.

A plurality of different types of data compression algorithms prepared beforehand are changed according to the results of the identification. Preferably, the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of each picture element of respective color separation data of a color image is determined, and further, a histogram of frequency of color information obtained for each color is determined. On the basis of the histogram, the type of the color image is identified by the fact that whether or not the histogram contains a peak greater than a predetermined value or whether or not the deviation of the histogram is greater than a predetermined value.
