    摘要: A sheet-fed scanner comprising a scan channel, a feeding unit, a transmitting unit, a background sheet, a background light source and a scan module is provided. The feeding unit is disposed at an inlet of the scan channel for feeding a document. The transmitting unit transmits the document to pass through the scan channel. The background sheet is disposed on a side of the scan channel, and has a first surface and a second surface. The first surface faces towards the scan channel. The background light source faces towards the second surface to provide an intermittent light signal to the background sheet, so that the background sheet correspondingly displays an intermittent variation background image on the first surface. The scan module is disposed on another side of the scan channel, and captures a document image of a document and the intermittent variation background image to generate scan data accordingly.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an exposing section, a pulse generating section, a frequency storing section, an emission control section, a smoothing section, and a driving-current generating section. The pulse generating section generates a periodic pulse signal indicating light amount of light beam emitted by a light source of the exposing section. The frequency storing section stores in advance a plurality of frequencies of the pulse signal. The emission control section selects, in the rendering of each main scanning line, any one of the plurality of frequencies and instructs the pulse generating section to generate the pulse signal having the selected frequency. The smoothing section smoothes the pulse signal generated by the pulse generating section according to the instruction of the emission control section and generates analog signal. The driving-current generating section generates driving current for the light source of the exposing section on the basis of the analog signal.

    摘要: A linear guiding mechanism for a platform type optical scanner. A V-shaped track is installed inside a casing and positioned parallel to the travel path of a carrier chassis containing a system of optical devices. The upper section of the V-shaped track has a pair of support surfaces forming an included angle. The V-shaped track supports a positioning wheel or a positioning bump attached to the carrier chassis. The carrier chassis moves along the longitudinal direction of the V-shaped track when driven by a driving system. The V-shaped track may be constructed from a pair of monorails so that the driving belt may move inside the space between the monorails. An additional positioning structure may attach to the interior sidewall of the casing to serve as a retainer for the chassis in an initial position.
