    摘要: Disclosed is a manufacturing method of toner which includes at least polyester resin and colorant, comprising the steps of: (A) dissolving, into an organic solvent, the polyester resin and ultrahigh molecular weight styrene resin in which a peak is present in a range larger than 500 thousands and smaller than 3 million in a molecular weight distribution, and preparing a binder resin solution; (B) dispersing the binder resin solution as binder resin solution droplets into an aqueous medium; (C) removing the organic solvent from the binder resin solution droplets, and preparing a resin particle dispersion; and (D) aggregating resin particles from which the organic solvent is removed and colorant particles containing the colorant with each other, and forming toner particles.

    摘要: An objective is to provide a highly durable carrier for a developer which is capable of forming a high-definition image stably with no deterioration of a developing property since the carrier resistance and the charging ability remain stable even though the developer is used for a long duration; a method of manufacturing the carrier; and an image forming method employing the same. Disclosed is an electrophotographic carrier comprising a carrier core material and provided thereon, a resin-coated layer comprising charge control particles and low-resistive particles, wherein an initial carrier resistance is 5×108-3×1010 Ωcm; a concentration of the low-resistive particles grows higher toward a surface of the layer from an inner part of the layer; and a concentration of the charge control particles grows lower toward a surface of the layer from an inner part of the layer.

    摘要: An image forming method is disclosed, which includes steps of cleaning toner remaining on a photoreceptor surface by a cleaning blade which is arranged on counter direction to rotation direction of the photoreceptor, supplying a fatty acid metal salt onto the photoreceptor surface after the cleaning, spreading the supplied fatty acid metal salt on the photoreceptor surface by using a spreading blade which is arranged on trail direction to rotation direction of the photoreceptor, charging the photoreceptor by a charging member, exposing the photoreceptor to form a latent image, developing the latent image by a developer to form a toner image on the photoreceptor, and transferring the toner image onto an image receiving member by a transfer roller facing to the photoreceptor through the image receiving material, in which the toner comprises a binder resin and a colorant, in which the toner has a glass transition point of from 20 to 45° C. and the binder resin contains 50% or more of vinyl polymer resin by weight based on the whole weight of the binder resin.
