    摘要: In a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus according to the related art, since positions of central points of radiuses of curvature of opposing arc portions of a guide groove are coincident with each other in the direction in which a movable chassis is moved, it is difficult to make the whole of the magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus become light in weight and small in size. A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus includes a fixed chassis (24) to which a rotary head drum (25) is attached, a movable chassis (23) slidably supported to the fixed chassis (24), a cam gear (51) rotatably supported to the fixed chassis (24) or the movable chassis (23) and which has a cam pin (51a) and a cam plate (59) attached to the movable chassis (23) or the fixed chassis (24) and which has a guide groove (65) with which the cam pin (51a) is slidably engaged, wherein the cam pin (51a) is moved along the guide groove (65) as the cam gear (51) is rotated, whereby rotation operation of the cam pin (51a) is transformed into slide operation of the movable chassis (23) to make the movable chassis (23) come close to or come away the rotary head drum (25). The guide groove (65) includes an arc-like eject side slide portion (66) which is dented in the opposite side of the rotary head drum (25), an arc-like play side slide portion (67) which is dented in the side of the rotary head drum (25) and a slide portion (68) continued to one side of the eject side slide portion (66) and the play side slide portion (67) and which is extended in the direction substantially perpendicular to the direction in which the movable chassis (23) is moved, positions of central points of radiuses of curvature of the eject side slide portion (66) and the play side slide portion (67) being displaced in the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the movable chassis (23) is moved.

    摘要: Disclosed is a tape cassette including a cassette shell in which tape reels around which a tape-like recording medium is wound are contained; a mouth portion provided in a front portion of the cassette shell in such a manner as to be opened forwardly, upwardly, and downwardly, the mouth portion being positioned such that part of the tape-like recording medium crosses the front end of the mouth portion; and a front lid, provided on the cassette shell, for covering the front side of the tape-like recording medium; wherein both side portions of the mouth portion of the cassette shell are taken as tape extraction portions opened forwardly; and each of the inner surfaces of outer side surface front portions of the cassette shell, which forms each of the inner surfaces of outer side walls of the tape extraction portions, is formed into a taper surface which becomes wider outwardly as nearing the front end. With this configuration, it is possible to increase the degree of freedom in design of tape extraction guides of a tape drive apparatus, and to loosen the arrangement accuracy of the tape extraction guides.

    摘要: A cassette loading mechanism in a recording and/or reproducing apparatus, including a stationary chassis supporting a rotary head drum thereon, and a movable chassis disposed movably with respect to the stationary chassis and supporting a tape cassette. The movable chassis has an unloading position where a magnetic tape is unloaded from the rotary head drum, and a loading position where the magnetic tape is loaded on the rotary head drum. The movable chassis is formed with a recessed portion which receives the rotary head drum when the movable chassis is in the loading position. The recessed portion is bridged by a reinforcing arm to which a flexible circuit board is secured. The reinforcing arm is electrically connected with photosensors for detecting the magnetic tape cassette when the movable chassis shifts into the loading position.
