    摘要： A novel silver halide color photographic material comprising a support provided thereon at least one layer containing at least one compound represented by the following general formula (A): ##STR1## In the formula, L.sub.1 represents an alkylene or arylene group; R.sub.1 represents a substituent which can be substituted for a hydrogen of the benzene ring; m represents an integer 2 to 7; and n is 0 or an integer of 1 to 4, with the proviso that when either or both of m and n are at least two, the plurality of L.sub.1 groups and/or R.sub.1 groups may be the same or different, and with the proviso that the compound of formula (A) does not form a polymer via an R.sub.1 group. In a preferred embodiment, at least one compound represented by formula (A) is incorporated into a photographic silver halide emulsion layer.
