    摘要: A compressor C has a construction comprising a cylinder block 1 in which cylinder bores 1a are formed, a front housing 2 and a rear housing 4 which are arranged at the front and at the rear, respectively, of the cylinder block 1. Pistons 20 which are accommodated in each cylinder bore 1a so as to be able to reciprocate, are connected to the cam plate 12, which connects to a drive shaft 6 so as to be able to integrally rotate, so as to operate, and the pistons 20 compress refrigerant gas according to the rotation of the drive shaft 6. A suction muffler 40, a discharge muffler 41 and a control valve 31 are provided between the cylinder bores 1a in the cylinder block 1. Further, a unit 60 which comprises a discharge check valve and an oil separator is disposed in the suction muffler 40.

The unit includes a check valve for preventing the reverse flow of refrigerant, and an oil separator for separating a mist of lubricating oil contained in the refrigerant from the refrigerant. Separated lubricating oil is introduced into a crank chamber via an oil passage, and the separated refrigerant is directed to the check valve, which prevents of the reverse flow of the refrigerant from the external refrigerant circuit to the discharge chamber.

    摘要: A control valve is located in a variable displacement compressor used in a refrigerant circuit. The control valve operates such that the pressure difference between two pressure monitoring points in the refrigerant circuit seeks a predetermined target value. A controller determines the target value of the pressure difference in accordance with external information that represents the required cooling performance. The target value of the pressure difference is represented by a duty ratio applied to the control valve. When the acceleration pedal is pressed beyond a predetermined level, the controller limits the duty ratio. Therefore, the compressor torque does not hinder quick vehicle acceleration. Also, the cooling performance is not lowered unless it is necessary.

    摘要: A control valve used for a variable displacement compressor comprises a valve housing, a valve chamber defined in the valve housing, a valve body. The valve body is located in the valve chamber. A pressure sensing chamber is defined in the valve housing. A movable wall is located in the sensing chamber to divide a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber. The movable wall moves in accordance with the pressure difference between the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber. A rod transmits the movement of the movable wall to the valve body. The pressure directed in the vicinity of the end portion of the rod is the same type pressure directed in the first pressure chamber or in the second pressure chamber. An actuator determines the target pressure difference between the two pressure chambers. This permits the displacement of the compressor to be quickly changed.

    摘要: A displacement control device comprises a control valve. The control valve controls the pressure in a crank chamber. The control valve includes a valve body, and an electromagnetic actuator. A power source supplies the current to the actuator. A switch device located between the actuator and the power source. A controller determines a target value of the current supplied to the actuator in accordance with an external condition. When the target value is changed to a new value, the controller controls the switching of the switch device such that the current is intermittently supplied from the power source to the actuator before the current is set to the new target value. This permits the displacement of the compressor to be smoothly and rapidly changed.
