    摘要: The object of the present invention is to offer a structure of a suction valve enough to prevent a noise or clatter caused by vibrations of a suction valve in a variable displacement compressor having pistons. The suction valve is a bendable flexible valve composed of flexible portions, and of a closing portion placed adjoining to the flexible portions to form a free end to close a suction port. The lengths of the flexible portions of the suction valve are nearly equal, but the widths of the flexible portions of the suction valve are different each other. And the distance between the suction valve and a receiving portion which regulates maximum opening degree, is determined so that the lower bending flexibility side of the flexible portions contacts the receiving portion from the beginning or as soon as the suction valve starts to open, and that the higher bending flexibility side of the flexible portions approaches the receiving portion with the lower bending flexibility side of the flexible portion contacting the receiving portion, while the suction valve is twisted.

The discharge capacity of the compressor is changed by changing the difference between the pressure in the crank chamber and the suction pressure. The difference between the pressure in the crank chamber and the pressure of the suction chamber is maintained at a set value. A target value is determined based on the temperature of the passenger compartment. The target value is corrected based on the rotational speed of the engine driving the compressor, which is detected. The set value is determined by the corrected target value.

    摘要: An introduction passage is formed in a rear housing. The introduction passage extends from a wall of the rear housing across a discharge chamber to a suction chamber. The introduction passage has a first portion extending from an opening portion of the rear housing along a wall of the discharge chamber and along a wall of the suction chamber to the suction chamber. A second portion of the passage bends in the suction chamber substantially perpendicularly and then extends toward a valve plate of a compressor. The outlet of the introduction passage is located closer to the valve plate than to the wall of the suction chamber. Therefore, generation of suction pulsation is suppressed without increasing the size of the compressor.

    摘要: A control valve used for a variable displacement compressor comprises a valve housing, a valve chamber defined in the valve housing, a valve body. The valve body is located in the valve chamber. A pressure sensing chamber is defined in the valve housing. A movable wall is located in the sensing chamber to divide a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber. The movable wall moves in accordance with the pressure difference between the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber. A rod transmits the movement of the movable wall to the valve body. The pressure directed in the vicinity of the end portion of the rod is the same type pressure directed in the first pressure chamber or in the second pressure chamber. An actuator determines the target pressure difference between the two pressure chambers. This permits the displacement of the compressor to be quickly changed.
