摘要： To provide an image processing system and the like which can correct a distortion in a projected image automatically and adequately, a projector has an area sensor section which senses a sensing region onto which an image is projected and outputs sensing information; a storage section which stores angle correction data in which the ratio of average luminance values for a plurality of different regions in the projection area is associated with derivation coordinates for deriving coordinates of the projection area, and also stores coordinate data indicating the derivation coordinates for the projection area; luminance-distribution analyzing section which refers to the angle correction data based on the sensing information and depending on the luminance distribution in the projection area and corrects the derivation coordinates in the coordinate data, based on the angle correction data; and a distortion correction section which corrects the image signals so that the distortion in the projected image is corrected, based on the coordinate data.

摘要： To provide an image processing system and the like which can correct image distortions and provide properly overlapped images when a plurality of projectors are used to project overlapped images, a projector includes: an image projection section projecting an image based on image signals to display the image in a manner to overlap another image projected from another projector at a projection target area; sensing section sensing an image and generating sensing information; overlap-area detecting section detecting projection areas for the projection target area, and detecting an overlap area at which the projection areas overlap, based on the sensing information; correction information generating section generating correction information indicating information for positions of the projection areas and a position of the overlap area; and projection area correction section correcting image signals, based on the correction information, to project an image onto a region corresponding to the overlap area.

摘要： An image processing system enabling luminance regulation depending on displayed images is provided by a projector, the projector including: a signal input section which input an image signal; a signal output section which outputs a corrected image signal; an image projecting section; a correction table storage section which stores a correction table showing the relationship between a correction amount and a position in an image; an instruction input section which inputs instruction information representing a correction instruction from a user; and a luminance regulating section which corrects a luminance value of the input image signal to make a luminance value in a central portion of an image lower than the current luminance value of the center portion when uniformity improvement of luminance values in central and marginal portions of the image is desired, or corrects that to make a luminance value in a marginal portion of an image lower than the current luminance value of the marginal portion when emphasis of a central portion of the image is desired, based on the correction table and the instruction information.
