摘要： A head protecting airbag is folded up to be housed at an upper part of a window of a vehicle so as to be deployed and inflated downward from the upper part of the window so as to cover an interior side of the window. In the airbag, a plurality of parallel cells adapted to be deployed and inflated by an inflating gas introduced thereinto are provided in parallel with each other below a gas supply passage portion in which the inflating gas flows along a longitudinal direction. In a cell of the parallel cells so provided which is required to deploy quickly, of front and rear partitioning portions, a partitioning portion situated at an upstream side of the gas flowing in the gas supply passage portion is provided such that an end thereof which extends upward from a lower edge portion is disposed so as to form an inlet port between a distal end of a horizontal portion of a downstream side partitioning portion and itself.

摘要： A head protecting airbag includes a bag body and an inner tube. The inner tube is provided within the bag body so as to be separated with respect to an inner peripheral surface of an inflation main part of the bag body so as provide a protecting area directly therebelow and is supported by a support cloth which is joined to an internal side of the inflation main part around an outer periphery thereof. The support cloth is provided integrally with the inflation main part as a substantially tubular shape which has a shorter longitudinal length than that of the inner tube and which can wrap up the inner tube, when outer peripheral parts of interior and exterior wall portions which are located on an upper edge of the inflation main part above the inner tube are joined to each other.

摘要： The head-protecting airbag according to the present invention is formed by hollow-weaving method, and includes a gas admissive portion inflatable with inflation gas to separate its vehicle's inner wall and vehicle's outer wall, and a non-admissive portion admitting no inflation gas. The non-admissive portion includes mounting portions arranged in the upper edge of the airbag, and a marginal portion located around the gas admissive portion. The non-admissive portion partially has a two-ply structure where the hollow-woven cloth material separates into vehicle's inner cloth part and outer cloth part from the marginal portion having a one-ply structure. At least one of the mounting portions is formed by folding back a region of the two-ply cloth part to have a four-ply structure. The head-protecting airbag of the present invention remains stably attached to the vehicle body without breakage of the mounting portions even when a strong tension force rapidly and directly acts on mounting-hole peripheries of the mounting portions upon airbag deployment.

摘要： An airbag device comprises a folded and housed airbag including: a vehicle front-facing wall portion having a gas inlet through which inflating gas can enter; and a passenger-facing wall portion directly opposite the gas inlet port. In the airbag, there is arranged a flow regulating cloth. This flow regulating cloth regulates the inflow of the inflating gas so that the unnecessary protrusion of the passenger-facing wall portion toward the passenger is prevented. Moreover, the flow regulating cloth breaks at a portion made to be easily torn, before the completion of inflation of the airbag. In other words, the airbag is released from the regulation of the inflow of the inflating gas before the completion of inflation.

摘要： An air bag is formed by joining together the outer peripheral edges of a pair of bag cloths substantially identical in the outer shape with each other. One of the pair of bag cloths constitutes an occupant side surface which, when the air bag is deployed, is located on the occupant side, while the other constitutes a vehicle body side surface which, when the air bag is deployed, is located on the vehicle body side. In the interior of the air bag, there are disposed drawing strips which pull in the outer peripheral edges of the occupant side surface and vehicle body side surface to the vicinity of the central portion of the air bag when the air bag is deployed.

摘要： An airbag cover has a door section on its front surface with an ornament. On a reverse side of the door section, a leg section of the ornament is inserted via an inserting hole from the front surface side of the door section of the cover. The leg section of the ornament is attached to the door section by a rivet, which penetrates an attaching hole of the leg section and a through-hole of the door section. The ornament is thereby attached to the door section, while an ornamental section of the ornament covers a head portion of the rivet on the front surface side of the door section. In another embodiment, the leg section is sewn to the door section. The ornamental section is attached to the front surface side of the door section by adhering the ornamental section to the door section in the sewing portion and the leg section. The connecting portion of the leg section is bent so that the ornamental section can be arranged to cover the sewing portion of the leg section.
