Abstract:
In order to set in advance, for each scene, setting data that should belong to (or should not belong to) a recall range, a predetermined recall setting window is displayed for a current data set representing current settings of a mixing system. Buttons in a parameter selection section correspond to parameters of each channels belonging to the current data set, and the buttons can turned on and off. When the current data set is to be recorded as a scene data set, settings of the recall setting window are also stored as part of the current data set. When the scene is to be recalled, only setting data of parameters, having been set as data belonging to the recall range, are recalled. Also, editing of a channel name is permitted in order to perform optimal name display for channel strips of the system in accordance with a form of use of the system.
Abstract:
In a digital mixer, a standard mode or a switched mode of an input patch is selectable. When shifting from the standard mode to the switched mode is selected, input port information in input patch data stored in a current memory is converted according to a port correspondence relation indicated by conversion data. When shifting from the switched mode to the standard mode is selected, the input port information in the input patch data stored in the current memory is reversely converted to original information according to the port correspondence relation indicated by the conversion data.
Abstract:
A clip state display method which is capable of quickly identifying a clipping point and changing settings of signal processing. It is detected whether a clip occurs in any of signals of a plurality of input channels on which at least one of signal processing and mixing processing is performed. A block diagram showing functions of at least one of the signal processing and the mixing processing is displayed. Functions of at least one of the signal processing and the mixing processing in which the clip has occurred are displayed on the block diagram.
Abstract:
When a jump instruction to display contents regarding a control out of contents in a help screen is given, if the jump instruction is given for a control with the same identification data as that of a control for which a preceding instruction is given, an explanation at a position next to a position of contents displayed in response to the preceding jump instruction is displayed on the help screen, out of the contents of a help data corresponding to the identification data of the control. If the jump instruction is given for a control with different identification from that of the control corresponding to the preceding jump instruction, an explanation at a head position, out of explanations in the help data corresponding to the identification data of the control for which the current jump instruction is given is displayed on the help screen.

Abstract:
In an audio mixer, there are stored a plurality of scene data each including, as a set of data, respective settings of a plurality of types of parameters, and these scene data are displayed on a scene data list shown on a display section. Human operator selects a desired one of the scene data from the scene data list using an increment or decrement switch. Determination is made as to whether any object-of-caution data, such as patch data, is among the plurality of types of parameters included in the selected scene data, and, if so, a caution display window is displayed to caution the human operator about the object-of-caution data.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a digital mixer that selectively provides audio signal processing functions to a user depending on the authority granted to the user's log-in credentials. The preferred embodiment of the digital mixer includes a mounting unit for removably mounting a storage medium, a detector for detecting the mounting or removal of the storage medium, a determining portion for determining whether a user key is stored in the mounted storage medium, and a control portion that, upon the determining portion confirming that the mounted storage medium includes a user key, causes the digital mixer to display a log-on screen for a specific user who is associated with the stored user key. In accordance with the preferred embodiment, the digital mixer automatically logs out the user upon detecting that the storage medium is removed from the digital mixer.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a signal processing apparatus for processing multiple signals, such as audio signals, and for controlling multiple external target devices (for example, an audio recorder). In accordance with a preferred embodiment, a signal from an external device connected to one of the input ports of the signal processing apparatus can be inputted to a corresponding input channel. In accordance with a preferred embodiment, the signal processing apparatus include faders that correspond to the input channels, and operation of each fader causes the transmission a control signal to the connected external devices to control the external device.
Abstract:
A digital mixer provides audio signal processing functions to a user, who has logged into the digital mixer by inputting a user password, within limits of authority granted to the user. In the digital mixer, a mounting unit is provided for removably mounting a storage medium. a detector detects when the storage medium is mounted on the mounting unit and detects when the mounted storage medium is removed from the mounting unit. A determining portion determines whether or not a user key is stored in the mounted storage medium upon detecting that the storage medium is mounted on the mounting unit, and operates if a user key is stored in the mounted storage medium, for displaying a login screen associated with a user corresponding to the user key. A control portion allows the user to automatically log out the digital mixer upon detecting that the storage medium is removed from the digital mixer.
