摘要： A tape cassette has a housing and a pressure pad apparatus mounted within the housing for bringing a magnetic tape into direct contact with a magnetic head. The pressure pad apparatus includes a pad, a spring joined to the pad for imparting a pushing force to the magnetic head, and a holding member mounted within the housing for holding the spring at two points spaced from each other. The effective length of the spring is greater than the distance between the two holding points of the holding member.

摘要： A magnetic tape cassette capable of effectively preventing separation of a slider from a casing even when it is dropped or any external force is applied thereto, resulting in ensuring its safety and reliability. The magnetic case includes a casing constituted by an upper casing member and a lower casing member and a slider slidably mounted on the lower casing member. Each of side walls of the slider includes a lower portion opposite to an outer surface of a side wall of the lower casing member and an upper portion opposite to an inner surface of the side wall of the upper casing member. The cassette also includes a mechanism for preventing the slider from being disclocated from the casing. The mechanism may be provided by positioning the inner surface of the side wall of the upper casing member inwardly from the outer surface of the side wall of the lower casing member. Alternatively, it may be provided by positioning the inner surface outwardly from the outer surface through a slit defined therebetween and forming the upper portion of the side wall of the slider into a thickness larger than the slit.

摘要： A cleaning disc cartridge capable of concurrently cleaning both a magnetic head of a magneto-optical disc apparatus and an optical lens thereof without causing any error in reading of a signal. A rotating disc is provided on one surface thereof opposite to a magnetic head of the apparatus with a head cleaning member and on the other surface thereof opposite to an objective lens of the apparatus with lens cleaning members. The rotating disc includes a disc body which is provided with an inventory region defined on an inner peripheral side of a lens cleaning member arrangement region, a reproduction-only region defined on an outer peripheral side of the lens cleaning member arrangement region, and an information recording and reproducing region outside the reproduction-only region.

摘要： A casing for a magnetic tape cassette capable of effectively and precisely actuating a slider. The casing includes a casing body having an upper casing member and a lower casing member joined together. The slider is slidably mounted on the lower casing member so as to cover at least a part of a bottom and a side of the lower casing member. The upper casing member is provided at a rear portion of both sides thereof with holding members through which the casing is grasped. The holding members are separated or isolated from the slider, to assure smooth sliding movement of the slider. The casing body may be provided on both sides thereof with reliefs which serve to prevent the holding members from interfering with movement of the slider.

摘要： A tape cassette is provided which is so constructed that a plurality of weighting members are fittedly held in fitting apertures or recesses of a casing formed at corners of the casing in a detachable manner while being exposed at part thereof on a surface of the casing. 摘要： A tape cassette comprises a case including upper and lower halves, each having a pair of parallel side walls and a back wall extending between the side walls, a pair of reels housed in the case on which magnetic tape is wound, and a brake member freely slidably mounted on the inner face of the lower case half, the brake member having a pair of legs which slide on the inner face of the lower case half along the side walls thereof, movable to a position wherein rotation of each of the reels is prevented. A control device is provided for limiting the movement of each of the legs of the brake member in the direction of the width of the case. The control device includes members each of which projects from a respective one of the side walls of the upper case half and is located adjacent to one face of a respective one of the legs of the control device which is opposite to the face thereof which slides on the inner face of the lower case half.

摘要： A magnetic tape cassette housing is divided into a major part and a rear frame member attached to the rear end of the major part. The major part is divided into a pair of side frame members which are formed of a material of low friction coefficient and a main body surrounded and held together by the side frame members and rear frame member. The housing is of double-layer structure consisting of inside and outside layers. The inside layers are formed with steps along the edges of the side frame members and the rear frame member, and the outside layers are so formed as to fall onto the steps and extend inwardly of the edges of the side frame members. The main body and side frame members are formed with mutually engageable, temporary fasteners. The outer surface of the outside layer is satin crape finished and at least the interface between the inside and outside layers mirror finished.
