摘要： An electrophotographic copying machine device provided with a pair of lens arrays installed in parallel to enable variable- or actual-size copying and a means for selectively directing the light-path, allowing each lens array to select its light-path before projecting the original image onto a recording medium such as a photoreceptive drum, in which the copying device incorporates the following: equalizing the distance between original-scanning starting points for actual- and variable-size copying to the distance between light-exposure positions on the recording medium by applying variable-size lens array; equalizing the distance between light-exposure positions on the recording medium, corresponding to the original-scanning starting point, and the image transfer starting position, by which image on the recording medium is transferred to the transference material using the variable-size lens array, to the distance for transferring the transference material from its standby position to its transference position; and means for controlling engagement of the transference material held in a standby condition in response to the original-scanning operation activated with the variable-size lens array.

摘要： An automatic duplex copying machine with a circulating document handler is characterized in that a plurality of single-sided-image bearing documents are piled on the circulating handler and a document page having been copied on a front side on a copy paper is sheltered in a copier-paper discharge path of the circulating document handler. Upon the occurrence of a paper jamming during copying another document page to be copied on the rear side of the copy paper, another document is sheltered into a document reverse tray of the circulating handler. The document with the front side page sheltered in the paper discharge path is forwarded into a document table, again, to conduct a supplemental copy. After that, the document with the front side page is sheltered in the document discharge path and the document with the rear side page is forwarded into the document table, again.

摘要： An automatic duplex copying machine having a function for forming images on both sides of a copy paper sheet through a process in which a one-side copied paper sheet is once stored in an intermediate tray and is again led to a copying process portion after having been reversed in its transporting direction. The automatic duplex copying machine of the above described type is provided with a one-side copied paper change-over member for leading the one-side copied paper sheet towards either an intermediate tray or an intermediate sub-tray during a double-side copying operation, and a one-side copied paper selecting member for selectively supplying a one-side copied paper sheet, during a copying operation for the reverse side thereof, to the copying process portion from the intermediate tray when no paper exists in the intermediate sub-tray or from the intermediate sub-tray when papers exist therein, with one or more intermediate sub-trays being arranged in the vicinity of the intermediate tray.
