    摘要: A camera installation position evaluating system includes a processor, the processor executing a process including setting a virtual plane orthogonal to the optic axis of a camera mounted on a camera mounted object, generating virtually a camera image to be captured by the camera, with use of data about a three-dimensional model of the camera mounted object, data about the virtual plane set by the setting and parameters of the camera, and computing a boundary between an area of the three-dimensional model of the camera mounted object and an area of the virtual plane set by the setting, on the camera image generated by the generating. Accordingly, the camera installation position evaluating system is able to quantitatively obtain the camera's view range at the present camera installation position based on the computed boundary.

    摘要: A prior simulation of a velocity field and a temperature field is carried out, and snapshot data of the velocity field and that of the temperature field are collected during the prior simulation. Then principal component analysis on the collected snapshot data obtains velocity-field and temperature field dimension transformation matrixes, on the based on which the analysis models of the velocity field and temperature field having respective first degrees of freedom are converted into reduced degree-of-freedom models. Consequently, a simulation of the velocity field and the temperature field is carried out using models having respective reduced degrees of freedom (i.e., second degrees of freedom).

    摘要: In a device manufacturing support apparatus, shape models having variations are generated by a process simulator simulating a manufacturing process, and a result thereof is input to a device simulator. Then, characteristic variations of a device are evaluated, an optimal value and an acceptable range of a parameter are estimated, and simulation is performed again by using the parameter. This process is repeated so as to determine the optimal value and acceptable range of the parameter.

    摘要: A three-dimensional drawing model generation method draw a three-dimensional model as a texture image, which decrease the number of polygons of the texture model and allows smooth drawing. By simplify appearance shape of the three-dimensional model and removing small bumps from a three-dimensional polygon model, the three-dimensional model is flattened, and the texture of the model is acquired from the three-dimensional model. Since the flattened model is created from the three-dimensional polygon model, the number of polygons can be decreased and smooth drawing can be possible.
