摘要: A fuel efficiency display device includes a past average fuel efficiency (AFE) calculating unit, a present AFE calculating unit, an AFE comparison unit, and a display unit. The past AFE calculating unit calculates AFE from a start time of use of the fuel efficiency display device to a finish time of a last driving operation as a past AFE. The present AFE calculating unit calculates an AFE at constant time intervals or at constant intervals of running distance as a present AFE since a start time of a present driving operation. The AFE comparison unit makes a comparison between the present AFE and the past AFE. The display unit displays a proportion of a number of times that the present AFE is more efficient than the past AFE to a total number of the comparisons between the present AFE and the past AFE.

摘要: A determination unit determines whether or not the vehicle is running on a road known by a user. A mode setting unit sets an output mode to a known road running mode in a case where the determination unit determines that the vehicle is running on the known road, and sets the output mode to a normal mode in a case where the determination unit determines that the vehicle is not running on the known road. A function suppressing unit suppresses the interrupt function in the known road running mode. A valuable information presenting unit displays, in the known road running mode, some or all valuable information in a larger scale compared to the normal mode among plural piece of information displayed in the normal mode, and/or which displays other valuable information which is not displayed in the normal mode.

摘要: The invention is a crystal oscillator having a vibrating plate comprising a vibrating part surrounded by a rim part spaced from the vibrating part except for a narrow connecting part that connects the vibrating part to the rim part in a cantilever fashion. The thickness of the vibrating part and the connecting part are less than the thickness of the rim part. The vibrating part is sandwiched between a pair of casings. Each of the casings has a recess facing the vibrating part, which prevent the vibrating part from contacting the casings. Each surface facing a recess has an electrode positioned thereon and an electrode lead extending from the surface electrode to the connecting part. Each casing has a through-hole positioned to face an electrical lead. A cup-shaped metal lead is placed in each through-hole with the bottom of the cup contacting the electrical lead facing the through-hole. Current to the surface electrodes is supplied through the metal leads.

摘要: Provided is a navigation device which appropriately notifies a user of information. When traffic information and feature information are acquired, the traffic information and the feature information are associated with an ID number in accordance with time information and a type contained in the traffic information and the feature information to generate guidance having a single data structure. Calculated based on the time information of the guidance is an elapsed time up to a current time counted by a timer. Regarding the guidance having exceeded a predetermined time period, an icon A of such guidance is displayed in a display pattern different from the guidance not having exceeded the predetermined time period, where the icon A is displayed with higher transparency like an icon A1 or A2. Accordingly, the user can easily recognize the reliability of the traffic information and the feature information. The information is thus appropriately notified to the user.

摘要: An optical filter module having a multilayered filter inserted in the paths of optical waveguides thereof. In the optical filter module, precise V-shaped grooves are formed on the principle plane of a plane substrate so that optical fibers protrude therefrom. The optical fibers are mounted on the plane substrate. After the multilayered filter is inserted in a filter insertion groove that is formed so as to intersect the V-shaped grooves on the plane substrate, the filter is sandwiched and clamped by two sheets of covers provided on the plane substrate. Provided is a method of precisely mounting the filter that improves the optical axis adjustment between input and output optical fibers and reduces misregistration of the filter to be inserted.

摘要: An optical filter module of the present invention has a flat substrate, an optical path formed on the flat substrate; a filter insertion groove provided, crossing the optical path, on the flat substrate; a multilayer filter inserted, dividing the optical path, into the filter insertion groove; and a pair of covers disposed on the flat substrate so as to sandwich the multilayer filter. The present invention enables the omission of the process of adjustment of the optical axis, thus achieving high operability. At the same time, the present invention ensures fixing and mounting of the multilayer filter even if the multilayer filter is warped.

摘要: Precise V-grooves allowing an optical fiber to project are formed in respective main surfaces of an upper plane substrate and a lower plane substrate. The optical fiber is mounted on one plane substrate, and a multi-layer film filter 2 is inserted into a filter insertion groove 1 crossing the precise V-groove in the main surface of the other plane substrate. Then, using the projecting optical fiber and the other precise V-groove as a guide rail, two plane substrates grapple the multi-layer film filter to fix and mount the filter. In an optical filter module obtained in this manner, a process of adjusting an optical axis between input/output optical fibers is eliminated, and displacement of the inserted optical filter is reduced.
