摘要： An optical deflector includes a magnet unit, which generates a magnetic field, and a movable plate unit, which is placed in the magnetic field. The movable plate unit has an inner movable plate having a reflecting surface, an outer movable plate, two inner torsion bars connecting the inner and outer movable plates, a support located outside the outer movable plate, and two outer torsion bars connecting the outer movable plate and support. The movable plate unit has two inner drive wiring portions that extend along by a periphery of the inner movable plate. The magnet unit includes magnets, two adjacent magnets of which are opposite in magnetic polarity direction. The inner drive wiring portions extend almost parallel to boundaries between the two adjacent magnets and are respectively located substantially immediately above the boundaries. Currents of the same direction are applied to the two inner drive wiring portions.

摘要： A light deflector comprises a first movable plate having a reflective surface, fixing portions, a pair of second movable plates located between the first movable plate and the fixing portions, a pair of first elastic members supporting the first movable plate so as to allow it to oscillate with respect to the second movable plates, a pair of second elastic members supporting the second movable plates so as to allow them to oscillate with respect to the fixing portions, and an actuator to oscillate the first movable plate. Oscillation axis of the first elastic members and oscillation axis of the second elastic members are located on the same axis. Stiffness of the second elastic members against oscillation is lower than stiffness of the first elastic members against oscillation.

摘要： Movable plates which are supported by an opposite substrate and which include a reflection surface are attached between elastic members in a longitudinal direction as a first direction. The movable plates are rocked with respect to the opposite substrate using a second direction crossing at right angles to the first direction as a rock axis. The opposite substrate is disposed opposite to the surface opposite to the reflection surface of the movable plates, and a first convex portion which contacts the movable plates in a maximum deflection angle of the movable plate is disposed in the opposite substrate. The movable plates are driven by the elastic members so that the plates can rock into first and second deflection positions to contact the first convex portion.

摘要： An apparatus for continuously processing a plurality of optical cards in succession including a magazine having a plurality of racks on which a plurality of optical cards are placed, a table on which the magazine is detachably set, and a main body which supports the magazine movably up and down. On a side wall of the table is secured a rack extending vertically and a pinion is engaged with the rack. By driving the pinion, the table and thus the magazine is moved up and down so that a desired optical card can be indexed at a card discharging position. A driving roller is selectively caused to contact a side edge of the desired optical card through a window, and the optical card can be discharged from the magazine by rotating the driving roller. There is further provided a driving mechanism for feeding the optical card discharged from the magazine into an optical card utilizing device. After the optical card has been processed in the utilizing device, the optical card can be inserted into the magazine. Since the driving mechanisms for discharging and inserting the optical card out of and into the magazine are provided outside the magazine, the overall apparatus can be simplified and reduced in size.
