摘要: A sodium secondary battery which assures excellent sealing and can be manufactured in a simple manner is provided. The battery includes a negative electrode chamber defined by the inside of a bottom-closed, hollow cylindrical, solid electrolyte accommodated in an outer case and a positive electrode chamber formed outside the solid electrolyte and containing a porous electrode 4 impregnated with sulfur which serves as a positive electrode active substance. A cover, which closes the opening portion of the outer case, is fastened to the outer case by use of bolts and the interposition of an insulator.

摘要: A highly practical tube body for a pressure transducer is provided which has excellent pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and tensile strength; which can be manufactured at low cost in comparison with cases of using stainless steel; and which makes it possible to keep inside diameter precision high. In this tube body for a pressure transducer, the pressure applied to the interior is varied periodically, and a seal layer (2) is provided to the internal peripheral surface of a tube body (1) made of a fiber-reinforced resin composed of fibers wound in layers.

摘要: A wind-turbine blade that prevents foreign matter from entering the inside thereof during transportation and that can be efficiently assembled in good condition is provided. A wind-turbine blade includes a skin that forms a long and hollow shape, and a main spar that extends in the longitudinal direction and reinforces the skin from the inside thereof. The main spar is divided into a blade-root-side main spar and a blade-tip-side main spar in the longitudinal direction; the blade-root-side main spar and the blade-tip-side main spar have connection sections that are connected to each other; the skin is divided into a connection-section skin, located at a position corresponding to the connection sections, a blade-root-side skin, and a blade-tip-side skin; and openings formed in the blade-root-side skin and the blade-tip-side skin are blocked off by blanking plates.

摘要: Provided is a wind turbine rotor blade that can secure a sufficient strength in a coupling portion without significant increase in weight even though a blade is increased in size because beams, which are main strength members of the separated blades, are coupled to each other by metallic coupling members. A wind turbine rotor blade including: a skin that forms a long hollow shape; and a beam that is vertically passed in a longitudinal direction to reinforce the skin from inside, wherein the beam is separated into at least two portions in the longitudinal direction, and ends of the adjacent beams are coupled to each other through a metallic coupling member having: a first flange portion opposed to the one end; a second flange portion opposed to the other end; and a connecting portion that connects these first flange portion and second flange portion, and the skin is separated into a coupling portion skin arranged at a position corresponding to the coupling member, and a main body skin arranged at a position corresponding to the beam.

摘要: There is disclosed a high heat resistant aluminum alloy impeller, which is suitably used as an impeller, especially for a centrifugal compressor, and for the rotor and the blade of a turbo molecular pump or the scroll of a scroll compressor. Also, a method for manufacturing this aluminum alloy impeller is disclosed. The impeller is composed of an Al--Fe rapid solidification aluminum alloy, which is produced by a spray forming process for spraying a molten metal with inert gas and rapidly solidifying the metal at a cooling speed of 10.sup.2 .degree. C./sec. or higher while simultaneously deposing the metal. The rapid solidification aluminum alloy is subjected to hot extrusion processing within a temperature range of 200.degree. C. to 600.degree. C. and further subjected to hot forging.

A reinforcement fabric laminating apparatus including a sheet feeding unit that feeds out a reinforcement fabric to be laminated on a mold and a pressure contact unit that pressure-contacts the reinforcement fabric onto the mold, wherein the pressure contact unit has a narrower width than the reinforcement fabric, and the sheet feeding unit supplies the reinforcement fabric while applying tension between the sheet feeding unit and the pressure contact unit.

In the method of manufacturing the wind turbine blade having the spar cap as a main structural member of the blade disposed between the layers constituting the outer skin or disposed on the inner side of the outer skin, the spar cap is formed as a separate piece from the outer skin, and the spar cap, dry fiber fabrics for the layers constituting the outer skin, and a sandwich core member are collectively impregnated with resin under a vacuum process.
