摘要： An information collection device acquires information from a plurality of devices connected through a network. The information collection device includes: a first addition unit that adds, for each of the devices, an information collection duration required to collect information of the devices to a communication duration required to communicate with the devices; a second addition unit that adds a maximum duration among the durations by addition of the first addition unit to a predetermined time to obtain a first time; a subtraction unit that subtracts the information collection duration of each of the devices from the first time; a first setting unit that sets a time obtained by the subtraction unit as a second time that is when information collection starts at each of the devices; and an acquisition unit that acquires information obtained by the information collection that starts at the second time.

摘要： A configuration management system includes a plurality of MDRs that stores information about resources as configuration items, a FCMDB, a plurality of proxy apparatuses, and a proxy management apparatus, wherein the proxy management apparatus receives configuration items from the MDRs, reconciles the receives configuration items, selects a destination proxy apparatus such that the numbers of configuration items stored in the proxy apparatuses are substantially equal to each other, and sends the reconciled configuration items to the selected proxy apparatus, wherein the proxy apparatuses store configuration items sent from the proxy management apparatus, and wherein the FCMDB receives a query from a client, selects among the plurality of proxy apparatuses a proxy apparatus that stores a configuration item that is to serve as a query result, and receives the configuration item from the selected proxy apparatus.

摘要： A data management unit stores therein configuration items including attribute items described according to different schemas. A dictionary candidate retrieval unit specifies a combination of a pair of attribute items, which defines a correspondence relation between the attribute items of the different schemas, as a dictionary definition item, and retrieves, as a dictionary candidate, a combination of the attribute names corresponding to the same attribute value in the attribute items, which are described according to the schemas, of the dictionary definition item from the data management unit. A dictionary generation unit generates dictionary information defining synonymity between the attribute names of the different attribute items described according to the different schemas based on the dictionary candidate retrieved by the dictionary candidate retrieval unit. A dictionary management unit stores therein the dictionary information generated by the dictionary generation unit.

摘要： A supporting apparatus includes a configuration-information storage unit having stored therein dependencies among devices in association with a list of the devices. When information about a device where a failure has occurred is input, a dependency among devices including the faulty device is obtained from the configuration-information storage unit. Based on the obtained dependency among devices including the faulty device and information about the faulty device, learning data with the dependency and a cause of failure being associated with each other is created. Then, based on the created learning data, a solution procedure indicative of a procedure for specifying the cause of failure is generated by using, for example, algorithm ID3.
