Abstract:
Smokers can enclose smoking subjects for production of trapped smoke with limited airflow. Optimal airflow rates and resulting smoking effects can be achieved through smokers. If a smoker has approximately 60 cubic inches volume, four 2-millimeter holes at an air inlet point achieves desired airflow and oxygen consumption in typical fills and cooking temperatures. Smokers may include a lid or other seal or access point to permit placement and enclosure of smoking materials. Smokers are useable with conventional grills and may be shaped to sit on grill racks without blocking desired airflow by grill components or smoking materials. Smokers may include a detachable handle for safer handling and heating.
Abstract:
A molded insert for attachment to material of a cover intended for outdoor use to cover an article has a front face, a back face, and a plurality of openings through its thickness. Each opening has a larger area in the front face than in the back face, and is formed so that the bottom-most extent of the smaller area in the back face is higher than the bottom-most extent of the larger area in the front face of the molded insert, when the molded insert is placed in a vertical orientation. There may be a first region in the molded insert where there are no openings formed. Typically, a peripheral margin is formed around the periphery, and an upstanding wall portion extends forwardly of the peripheral margin at least in the top region when the molded insert is placed in a vertical orientation.

Abstract:
A sound attenuating cover is adapted for intimate fitment to a compressor of a domestic air conditioner, and comprises an outer sleeve member and a generally circular top member which is releasably secured to the outer sleeve member. Hook and loop fasteners secure a first end of the outer sleeve member to a portion of the outer periphery of the sleeve member. When the closure member secures the top member to the outer sleeve member, and the hook and loop fasteners are secured, a cylindrical cover having a closed top end is formed having a diameter adapted for intimate fitment to a compressor of a domestic air conditioner. Each of the outer sleeve member and the circular top member comprises inner and outer cover sheeting material, and at least one layer of sound attenuating material which is typically glass fiber together with barium loaded vinyl.
Abstract:
Extendable implements include a handle and functional end that extends or retracts therefrom through a release. The handle and functional end are configured to provide user-implement synergy or ergonomics that account for typical hand grips and extension functionality together. Synergistic or ergonomic features can include any combination of positioning the release to avoid a strong grip on an extended implement, configuring the release to require definite voluntary actuation, extension and retraction of the functional end with a single hand not contacting the functional end, a deep handle molded to a forceful open grip, a functional end dimensioned to prevent deflection or breaking during extended typical use, a functional end dimensioned and a release configured to provide reliable extension, retraction, and/or locking of functional end, etc.
