    摘要: This hybrid circuit breaker has at least two series-connected arcing chambers which are operated by a common drive or by separate drives and are filled with different arc extinguishing media. Means are provided which ensure a sensible voltage distribution between the first and the second arcing chamber in the course of a switching process. At least one vacuum switching chamber having an insulating housing, is provided as the second arcing chamber. The aim is to provide a hybrid circuit breaker wich can be produced economically and which has high availability. This is achieved, inter alia, in that means are provided which ensure that the movement of the contacting arrangement of the first arcing chamber precedes the movement of the contact arrangement of the second arcing chamber during a disconnection process, and that the movement of the contacting arrangement of the second arcing chamber precedes the movement of the contact arrangement of the first arcing chamber during a connection process. The second arcing chamber is permanently bridged by a non-reactive resistor, which is in the form of a resistance coating applied to the inner wall or the outer wall of the insulating housing of the second arcing chamber.

A deflection device, which interacts with at least one opening in the hollow contact, is arranged on the side of the hollow contact facing away from the arc area, and radially deflects hot gases into the exhaust volume, which is connected through at least one second opening to an arcing chamber volume. An increased disconnection rating is achieved by providing at least one intermediate body between the hollow contact and the exhaust body.

Gas jets are formed by a nozzle body in the exhaust area, are directed against a baffle wall and are swirled. The baffle wall is a component of the switching chamber enclosure and has a high thermal capacity and/or thermal conductivity, so that the switching gas vortices produce a highly efficient switching gas cooling on the baffle wall by turbulent convection. Exemplary embodiments relate inter alia to the design of the baffle wall and of the nozzle body. Advantages include: protection of the switching chamber enclosure against hot gases, improved switching gas cooling, and increased breaking capacity.

    摘要: The heavy-duty circuit breaker contains a first moveable arcing contact piece and a second moveable arcing contact piece as well as an auxiliary drive for driving the second arcing contact piece. An arc may burn between the arcing contact pieces. The heavy-duty circuit breaker has a heating chamber for temporarily storing quenching gas heated by the arc and a throat for guiding a quenching gas flow, which throat is connected to the heating chamber by a channel. The throat can be blocked by one of the two arcing contact pieces, which is the blocking contact piece. The auxiliary drive is designed such that, during an opening operation, a movement direction reversal of the second arcing contact piece from a movement in opposite directions to a movement in the same direction of the two arcing contact pieces takes place, if the throat is no longer blocked by the blocking contact piece.

    摘要: The switching chamber for a heavy-duty circuit breaker has a first arcing contact piece, a second arcing contact piece, a heating chamber, and an insulating nozzle. The first or second arcing contact piece can be moved by means of a drive. The heating chamber is used for temporarily storing quenching gas heated by an arc that may burn between the contact pieces. An insulating nozzle has a throat that is connected to the heating chamber, and which is used for guiding a quenching gas flow. During an opening operation, the two arcing contact pieces reach a maximum relative speed that is at least 1.3 times as great as a relative speed of the two arcing contact pieces. The relative speed being required for capacitive switching.
