Abstract: A method for performing beamforming sounding feedback in a system-parameter-aware manner and associated apparatus are provided. The method applicable to a wireless transceiver device within a wireless communications system may include: checking a plurality of system parameters of the wireless communications system to generate a plurality of checking results of the plurality of system parameters, respectively, wherein any checking result among the plurality of checking results indicates a current value of a corresponding system parameter among the plurality of system parameters; modifying a first beamforming feedback matrix according to the plurality of checking results to generate a second beamforming feedback matrix; and sending beamforming sounding feedback information carrying the second beamforming feedback matrix to another device within the wireless communications system, for further processing of the other device.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a station (STA). In certain configurations, the STA transmits a request-to-send (RTS) frame in an enhanced long range (ELR) format for obtaining a transmission opportunity (TXOP). The STA receives a first clear-to-send (CTS) frame in the ELR format or a non-ELR format responding to the RTS frame. In response to receiving the first CTS frame, the STA transmits data in the ELR format in the TXOP. In certain configurations, the STA further receives an acknowledgement in the same format as the first CTS frame for responding to the data being transmitted. In certain configurations, prior to transmitting the RTS frame, the STA transmits a CTS-to-Self frame in the non-ELR format.

Abstract: Various techniques pertaining to a special dual clear-to-send (CTS) mode for improvement in collision avoidance in wireless communications are described. A first station (STA) transmits a request-to-send (RTS) and, in response, receives a first CTS from a second STA. The first STA waits to receive a second CTS from the second STA before transmitting data to the second STA responsive to the first CTS being of a first type and the second CTS being of a second type different from the first type. The first STA then transmits the data to the second STA upon passage of a waiting period.
